I am 43 years old and have a wonderful 22 year old son. I LOVE my full time job as a substance use disorder nurse.

On Oct.8, 2023 my cat, Trixie, crossed the rainbow bridge. I am left with no animals at this time. In the future...maybe...just might be some time before I am ready.

**In September 2024, I brought home my sweet Binkley. She was abandoned by mom (feral). I am so in love with her. She is about 10 weeks old now (10/6/2024). I will post a photo soon.

As for my quilting style: I like more modern and tend to gravitate towards colors other than pastels. I don't dislike pastels though. I am a very generous rater so if you are my quilt swap partner please just have fun in your process of quilting. Don't stress about whether or not I will like it. To me that takes out all of the fun in why we are quilting in the first place!

I am hoping to connect with people from all over. I love learning about people and different ways of living other than my own. It is so much fun to receive happy mail, but without the people/stories behind it there wouldn't be as much joy and connection! Swapping should be fun and without stress, no drama, just loving, positive people trying to connect and grow!

My favorite things to receive are:

homemade items of ANY kind - sewn, crochet, knit, paper, written stories, poetry, drawings, etc.... I will always leave good feedback if you put effort in it and send it on time. I don't rate down if it isn't in my taste. I just pass it along to someone who I know would like it. I am very appreciative of anything I receive and get way more pleasure preparing and sending to you!

Don't feel like you need to include "extras". Honestly, the little bits can get overwhelming in my small space. Hearts are given because of effort or simply because I love it oh so much!

• I don't wear makeup or jewelry or perfume.
• No paper scraps please
• I really don't do any paper crafts anymore.
• No religious items - Exception would be if it is a Christmas swap I am okay with christian Christmas cards
