About Me

I live in the rural midwest(US) with my husband of 12 years. I can't draw worth a hoot but I sure can smack some stuff together and have it come out pretty good. I pay for my art addiction by working as a School Social Worker.

Favorite Music

I listen to Top 40, some alternative,and all the good rock N roll and Motown from my youth. I also am still a sucker for any dance beat as I used to go disco dancing in the 80's! YIKES what a confession!

Favorite Television

Don't watch much TV, but my favorites are CSI (the original), Rescue Me, Nip/Tuck and ER. Nip/Tuck has gotten pretty wack this season, so my love affair with Dr. Troy may soon have to end...

Favorite Crafts

ATC's,collage, rubberstamping & round robin art journals. I also like to do bits & pieces mosiacs with broken dishes. I also collect antique real people post cards as well as cabinet cards of women and children. I prefer vintage images in general,but also like those of saints, Paris & Italy. I also like images that can be used in collage(which could be just about anything) as well as words and phrases that celebrate the artful life.

What to send me..

I would love to receive vintage images and distressed looking scrapbook papers to use in ATC's. I also like text and musical background papers. I like German Scrap, crowns, wings and nature images that include birds,flowers and plants. I love pin-up girls as well as risque pictures..but please no embarassing nudity. I collect tarot cards and other F&G Co. cards. I love ATC mini kits, collage sheets and art transparencies. I have plenty of fibers, ribbons, buttons and charms.

Response: Yippy! I am so glad they found their way to you! Now go alter those calling card thingies..start by painting the background white. It makes the person stand out. Add some whimsy like a hat or wings, throw a ribbon to hang it by, and whalah! A new little doodad.

Response: Wonderful! I knew those cards would be the perfect "send along" for the swap. I heard once that they were called calling cards, but I really am not sure.
