Fridaynight, saturday and sunday: days to be creative and get my postcards and envelopes to the mailbox, so my collegues can empty them on sunday evening. Since 1 January 2014 they don't do that anymore, monday is the first occasion. So, my date of sending shown at the swap doesn't have to be the real one....... I mark it as sent when the swap is finished, otherwise I'll forget it ;-)

I live in The Netherlands, near Rotterdam, with my husband, 1 young adult son and 1 cat. Our daughter waved us goodbye and moved out to her own place to study in Zwolle, "at the other side of the country", 1,5 hours driving by car (in the Netherlands it is almost "the other side of the country" .......)

In June 2015 we adopted a red/white cat of 13 years old from a shelter. Our very black cat Harry (found on the internet) passed away 3rd October 2017. He was only 10 years old.

I deliver mail 4 days a week, of course by bike!

Together with my daughter I like to drink tea: she likes green tea, I like rooibos. Herbal and black tea are not our favourites, others are more than welcome, surprise us! After drinking I collect the bags for a very dear friend (she has a collection of > 30.000 bags), the labels I send to a Postcrossing/Facebook friend in The Ukraine. Tea can make a lot of people happy!

At this moment I am staring at my bookshelf: a lot of books of Scandinavian and Icelandic authors.........And in my E-reader: Harry Potter....... Where will I find time to read a book, like in the old days?

My daughter adores Korea: food, lifestyle, music by the band Infinite, everything. So, if you want to please her instead of me (I don't have any problem with that) feel free to send anything or contact me about it.
