Hi, my name is Laura. I'm living in Dublin (Ireland) with my fiance and our black cat named Veda. I had taken a long swap break as it was becoming more of a chore than a fun hobby, if that makes sense! I'm back, and plan to tip-toe back into swapping.

I work as a doctor. I've recently changed my speciality and began training in pathology. This means I'm getting used to looking at people's body parts after surgery, using microscopes and getting to grips with autopsies.

I'm vegetarian, almost vegan. I like cruelty-free makeup and cosmetics. I like nature, recycling, limiting water use, etc etc. Please chat to me about these topics if you're interested :)

I collect stamps. I view stamps as little works of art. Any effort to put beautiful or unusual stamps on my mail will be much appreciated!

I like to use postcrossing too. I also took a break from this, but I'm getting back into it. I missed getting mail!

I like collecting inspiring, motivational or thought-provoking quotes. Nothing is too corny or silly.

My latest hobby is watching videos about minimalism on youtube and giving myself a headache about the amount of craft stuff I own!

Japan is my favourite country so if anyone is from Japan and would like to swap or penpal then please DM me. If you're swapping stamps with me, then I would love to receive Japanese stamps!

Postcards I like: black cats, map cards, illustrations from children's books, bikes, ferris wheels, cats, deer, pastel colours, black and white photographs, night scenes, lights at night, trees, flowers, squirrels, fox, quirky, postal themed, beautiful rooms in homes, the ocean, mountains, autumn, leaves, sunshine, macarons, tea related, and traditional scenes.

Not too keen on hand made unless the swap calls for it …

Things with hunting, pin-up, dark, gothic, scary, cars, free/ad, or homemade postcards.

FAVOURITES: Pumpkin spice, Autumn spice, Orange tea (Tazo), Sweet flavours- like anything with vanilla, Chai, Cinnamon, Mint. Please only send factory packaged tea bags :)

DISLIKES: Earl grey, breakfast tea, plain black tea and plain green tea. Not too keen on fruity teas either.

My favourite stamps are Disney! I love the cute illustrated cartoon ones. I also love animals and flowers. Please please don't send me those fake stamps that are clearly just pieces of paper that you can buy online. That's fine for scrap-booking but if you actually collect real stamps it's really disappointing to get sent those.
