About Me

Hi! I'm a cat-mom living in Louisiana who loves reading, running, gardening, creative writing, horror, DIY, and punk rock.

I enjoy collecting and giving away cards including playing cards, comic cards, and Pokemon cards. Mimikyu is my favorite Pokemon. 💕

I am also a ham radio operator who has just started exploring the weird world of shortwave.

Favorite Crafts

I am a novice book binder interested in film photography and making books and zines. I like underground print media, old phone books, food packaging cards, and upcycled art.

If you'd like to swap zines or talk about making zines, send me a message!

In the mail ...

I love trash!! ♻️ -so please do not hesitate to make cards or swaps out of whatever you have!

Comment: Thank you for the chunk! My favorite snack was potato sticks. After dance class, I got to go to the A&P to get a can, then went home and ate them while watching the Flintstones during Friday night primetime. This was in the early 1960s.

Comment: Amazing card!!! I personally love the Borderlands series for all their short splatter punk horror stories!!!
Response: So glad you liked it! I was really excited when I read your profile. :) Thank you for the recommendation -- I love that it's from the late 80s/early 90s! Straight to the TBR pile.

Comment: Funny ad, Thank you. I learned to cook Greek food from my M-I-L. I didn't speak Greek and she didn't speak English at the start. We became close and verbal and I appreciate making it the old fashioned way. I hope you are well.

Comment: I wish I could regale you with my many successes with visible mending, but alas, the jeans I'm meant to be mending keep getting pushed aside for new, exciting crochet projects!!

Comment: Thank you for the Oreo chunk - I actually thought it was one I sent and was being returned to sender! I've been staying away from the estate sales as I am trying to declutter. A vintage metal toolbox with drawers and a cement gargoyle are some of my favorite finds. Your phonograph sounds awesome!

Comment: Thanks for the reading! I really like this interpretation of 4 of Swords, it has never occured to me to think of it that way, and I think I needed to hear it. You're so right about these crazy times we are living through. Hopefully everyone gets out to vote in November. Also - I was excited to see the postmark - that's my hometown! I moved away in the '90s but I still visit every few years. Happy Swapping!
