Hello everyone!

I am a slightly nutty girl from a rather small country smacked up in the middle of Western Europe called Luxembourg and I figured, since I like snail-mailing, crafting jewellery etc and all things related, that I'd give swap-bot a try.

My interests are varied and I'm open to hearing about and trying new/different things. I love books, absolutely, and music, movies, postcards, stationary, earrings, bookmarks.... oh and notebooks, I think I've developed an unhealthy obsession with notebooks, especially the embellished manuscripts series by Paperblanks. I'm easily inspired a lot of the time, often easily excitable and usually at least curious to learn more if not willing to try out new things.

I dislike writing profiles...

Hobbies and interests include:

• bookmarks - yeah I've developped a thing for bookmarks, comes with being a booknerd I guess hehe

• fingerless gloves

I read. A lot. I generally go through at least one book a week, depending on the number of pages and how much time I currently have. Okay so maybe that isn't all that much to some, but I still think it's quite a lot, especially since I generally buy all my books rather than borrowing them - second-hand bookshopping is a real life saver for me hehe. I can't help it, I just love the sight of many, many books on my shelves :-)

If possible, I'd prefer to receive them naked, that is to say, not inside an envelope (unless part of a larger swap that is not restricted to the sending of a single postcard, of course).

While I am new to this site, I am not entirely new to swapping. I know that sometimes life gets in the way and then prevents you to mail items out on time. This is not an issue, as long as you tell me in advance - it is only fair - and I will do the same, should I ever be inconvenienced and not manage to send something out on time, though I'm hoping that won't happen.

Also, should one of my swaps for some reason be delayed beyond the normal mailing time (international takes a while sometimes, please take that into account), then please contact me to sort things out.

I'm very much open to surprises - the nice kind :-)

Most of my swap interests are included above in the hobbies and interests listing, or relating to the books, movies, series I like.

As far as allergies go, I don't have any that are food/drink related.

A few dislikes:

• I do not like coffee, or anything tasting like coffee.
• I'm not very fond of religious mail. Each to their own, but I'm not interested in knowing about it.
• Pretzels. The salty kind. Never liked them.
• Overly sweet stuff. The kind where you think your teeth are going to fall out just by looking at all that sugar ;-)
• Hello Kitty.
• Pokemon, Digimon etc.
• Striped or chequered decors.
• Cigarettes; I'm not very fond of things that smell like cigarette smoke.

Music is a big love of mine and I have a real soft spot for movie soundtracks and scores. Sometimes the instrumental pieces make a movie worthwhile.

Otherwise, my taste is quite eclectic and it often depends on my mood what I'd rather listen to. Sometimes it needs to be loud, sometimes it needs to be quiet, other times I just want something I can burst into dance to.

So if you'd like to suggest something I should listen to, feel free to do so!

I regularly try my hand at making bits of jewellery. I am in no way an expert and I'm still not quite sure if the jewellery will actually survive longer use, but oh well, at least I enjoy fiddling with string and beads, so there's that, right?

I would like to properly learn how to crochet, and I will some time soon bug my mum to teach me (again) since she's quite good at it. I can only crochet in a straight line - and it isn't always regular then either haha.

Anything home-made that is of a decent quality and that you'd like to share is welcome. Or just pattern of various crafts.

If cooking and baking can be considered a craft, then I'm always interested in receiving recipes or simply exchanging a few ideas.
