11-15-23: Back from Hawaii and whoa, did I have a big batch of swaps!!! How fun was that. Working on getting everything rated.

6-6-23: Just got back from Jolly England. What an awesome time hubby and I had, Disney World with my son and family and Las Vegas with the retired girls club. What a summer! UPDATE: my favorite time of year Cherry blossoms. . : I am officially retired! And a member of the RGC. Retired Girls Club as of June 26, 2020

FYI: for tea swaps, I do not enjoy green tea. I wish I did but it’s not happening. I. Know it’s so good for you too When I married in 2015, along with Kevin and Winston, his Yorkie Terrior. I am his people now. Kevin says he loves me more than him!. When checking into a hotel, they asking he is a therapy dog. I say yes. We are his therapy people.lol. He runs our lives. I have a baby carrier and I put him in ot when we go for walks or hikes. He gathers so much attention. His favorite toy is the big rubber ball. He acts like a circus animal rolling around on it. Only with his two front feet. My BFF has been all over the internet and met some pretty amazing people. I was raised as an Army Brat but spent all my years till jr college living at Fort Ord and Monterey California. Lucky me, I met my best friend at the age of 8, Dorothy. We are still to this day 54 years later side kicks. Spent 14 years living in Los Angelos area. Because of the smog, crime, and pollution our family moved to the great north west and ended up in Vancouver Washington.Been here since 1994 and worked at our hospital for 26 years in the lab, hence, LABLAURI.I am married to a wonderful man of 7 year. On our first date, he said he wanted to save Venice Italy for his honeymoon. A year later on Oahu, under a big crescent moon, reflexing off the still waters, he asked for my hand in marriage. A year later, we are on a gondola in Venice . Other than my husband, I have 3 boys. Will 39 and my twins, John and Chris 36 I should mention were born on Christmas Day with red hair. Will and his wife have 2 children Joey and FINALLY a girl, Annabelle. John and his wife are expecting a boy in July. UPDATE: 5 lb 5 oz. with, yes, red hair. Which brings me to my best friend. I wouldn't say we are to competitive, but I will never forget my phone call to her announcing I too was having twins. She had twin girls 4 months before my twin boys. We don't live near each since I left for college but the 4 remain friends to this day.

I love to garden and am starting my first herb garden. UPDATE: Not very successful, oh well. 2/22: Thanks to a swapper, I now have 15 different purple flowers to plant this spring. I am going to baby them so much.... My favorite color is sage and purple. My husband must really love me because he let me paint our bedroom lavender fUPDATE: 5 YEARS LATER, we have painted it gray. I was ready for a change The rest of the house is sage.

I play piano but only for myself .

I must be honest, I did not know what a Washi was till my BFF shared with me her stash. Looking forward to obtaining some. UPDATE: we got throw away lab coats now. Wear for a week or so then depose of it. I have since brought WASHI tape to work with me and I have the prettiest and most unusual lab coat. I have got to introduce Washi tape to people! Even got one med tech to check into swap bot.

I love British TV. and subscribe to Acorn TV. They have Aussie tv shows too. Thank goodness for my iPad and wireless headphones. Hubby can watch his shows and I can watch mine, I don’t watch regular TV as we do not have cable. I would rather watch my favorite you tubes, Now I am taking an abstract art class on line called Amanda’s insiders. I am amazed at the work I have produced and they hang on my wall. It’s the best 19.99 a month for its value, a class every week but what more, we have developed a community of artis from all ranges. I also joined a book making class called Vinage Book binding by Ali Manning. I love it. A new book everymonth.

I am a cubbies fan and married into it. Love Baseball and Football. I also love the Seattle Seahawks as I am from Washington. We watch a lot of baseball and football. So I would like anything Seahawks or Chicago Cubs stickies or whatever! UPDATE: boycotting NFL New UPDATE: The nfl got their heads out of their butts and I will watch football now, I am an army brat and disrespecting our flag is nothing I can tolerate. Leave it at that. UPDATE: back to boycotting the NFL. UPDATE: Glad to see the knee cap has stopped. May watch again, maybe.

If it wasn't for by best friend, I wouldn't do crafts. I see the hours she spends making and creating art. I started small with jewelry. Still learning but can do the basics. My first mistake was spending three days beading. I didn't know to take breaks. I paid the price. Now, I get up, make a cup of tea or glass of wine🍷 My BFF gave me a water color set and I have fallen in love with water coloring. My favorite thing to do is land scaping. When we go on vacation, I have a mini set I bring with me. Making cards for family and friends with their favorite places brings me joy.

Watercoloring is my new passion. Found a teacher and well, don’t be surprise if you get a card from me with one of my watercolors.

Traveling has given me the opportunity to take pictures. Now I make beautiful cards. Favorites are snap shots from Venice Italy and Kauai. UPDATE I have a pink and gold Glam Craft Room. Love my girlie room, no boys allowed. LoL

I love to travel. I did not know my husband belonged to a time share till I ran across it while moving into our home. What's this I asked. He rarely has used it over the years and I was, give me everything you have on it because it will be used. I love going to the resorts, no travel lodge for me! Other than Venice, I have been to England, Paris, Rome, Florida, San Francisco, Monterey, San Diego, Kauai ( first Anniversary). Victoria BC (New Years). San Antonio Texas just cause...I have us locked into San Francisco again..for Christmas, my brother Dave got my husband and I tickets to the Cubs one night and the next night him and his wife will join us. This fall, the big island Hawaii, and St. Thomas Virgin Island next April. The hardest part is waiting. UPDATE: St Thomas canceled boohoo Washington DC for Cherry Blossom Parade. Just took a road trip to Arches, Moab Utah, Colorado ! Iowa , Mt Rushmore and finally Yellowstone. Now retired so much of America remains to be seen. Europe is out these days sadly. I have 3 retired girlfriends so we made the RGC. Retired Girls Club. We have already taken a trip to Vegas where one of the gals bought a condo! I do the itinerary. 2021 i hope will see us in New Zealand, home of the HOBBIT and Lords of the Ring. We keep putting it off but this maybe the year. We must watch the trilogies about twice a year. Right now it is cherry blossom time. My bucket list is going to Kyoto, Maruyama Park to see the mountain side of cherry blossoms .but until then, I am visiting the Portland tea garden for my cherry blossom thrill.

Watercoloring and book binding is my jam. Any information, brochures, maps, ideas about Germany or Austria. Best info is by those who know. So, if you’re writing to me and have travel experience in those countries, please tell me about it. Maybe things on don’t waste your time on.

Candles Soaps I do not journal and really don’t ever use those little pieces of paper.

I spend a lot of time on my swaps and hope you can see that. I recently got the spare room for my crafts/glam room. I would stay in there all day if I could. It's been fun getting it set up.
