I am a 45 year-old mom-of-teens, wife, microbiologist, pharmaceutical career, crafter, artist, reader, daydreamer in Ohio, USA. I enjoy creative things, but don't have a lot of time to indulge to my muses due to the more mundane aspects of everyday life. I am one of those "spiritual, but not religious" people with Pagan leanings but I am interested in learning more about all faiths and cultures. The world is fascinating to me!

I like a random assortment of things, though no country and very little rap. Some of my long standing favorites are: Fleetwood Mac, Everclear, Matchbox 20, All-American Rejects, BNL, Blue October, Dave Matthews, NIN, A Perfect Circle and most things created in or related to the 1990's.

Not usually into contemporary fiction or romance, but I'm open-minded and occassionally will try them. Same with non-fiction, as I tend to get my non-fiction through podcasts and documentaries rather than books.

I regretfully have a 3 in my ratings. When I initially joined Swap-Bot, I was very immersed and took on a lot of swaps. I kept up really well but meanwhile a lot of rough times were starting in my life which ultimately peaked in a divorce. Around the December timeframe of my first year, I somewhat consciously blew off a couple of swaps due to being overwhelmed with holidays and all the badness going on in my life at that time. About a year later, I returned and tried to make amends to those that I flaked on. Most (one swap had 5 recipients) of the swappers that I contacted were very generous and rated me a 5 in spite of being so very late. One swapper held me to task, and I know I deserved it. I’ve never missed a swap since then.
