Hello! My name is Manon and I’m 21 years old. Although I’m new to swapbot, I’ve successfully taken part in several swaps from many penpaling, postcrossing, crafting, and international snack box swapping groups on Facebook since over a year now.

I’m a Welsh medium primary school student teacher (3-11) and have a huge interest in special educational needs and children’s mental health.

I’ve never travelled outside of the UK before sadly, but I really hope to travel to many different places in the future. I love learning about different countries and cultures through penpaling, postcrossing and swapping, so I’d really appreciate receiving anything that teaches me a little about where you live, some of your traditions, popular celebrations, education system, healthcare, cuisine and so on. I collect written touristic postcards, as well as MOTW, FOTW, COTW, travelling Titina and friends, and Loupaper postcards all sent from origin. I prefer non touristy postcards left blank. I collect keyrings and fridge magnets from different countries too.

I’m a huge animal lover. I especially love black cats, calico cats, corgis, sheep and other farm animals, sea animals, koalas and zebras. I dislike items that are tested on animals, and mainly follow a plant based diet.

I also love most art and crafts! I’ve been making a lot of handmade cards & postcards, diamond art, scratch art, shrink art keyrings, magnets, bracelets, origami, pocket letters, flip books and cross stitching lately. I’m always up to trying new crafts too, and would love to receive any cool upcycling project ideas as I'm passionate about sustainability. I also like handmade items and enjoy seeing other people’s creations.

My other hobbies are doing puzzles, writing letters, learning Makaton and British sign language, genealogy, history, psychology, true crime (I’d love to hear about a local case), watching thrillers, mysteries, crime and medical shows, Disney (especially the 7 dwarfs, stitch and Peter Pan), listening to podcasts, baking, cooking and trying food from different cuisines, going for walks in beautiful or interesting locations, doing many adventure activities, and sports such as gymnastics, vertical dancing, aerial, cheerleading, trampolining, majorettes, yoga and indoor climbing.

I’m a stationery hoarder, and especially love erasable coloured pens, glitter or sparkly gel pens, pretty lined paper, patterned envelopes, washi tapes and unique stickers based on my likes. I love positive mental health and chronic illness motivational things. My favourite colours and grey, mint green and yellow. My favourite flowers are daffodils, but I like sunflowers too. My favourite season is the summer. I like drinking coffee, and trying different flavoured drinks.

I live in a royal town on the coastline in north Wales, and would appreciate any British royal family things that I could pass on to interested people. Some other random things I like are: castles, dragons, mermaid, mountains, gonks, café, buses and train / train station related items.
