Electromagnetic training instructor by day and artist by night, I love the duality of my internal grey matter (though it gets a little crazy colorful up there at times). A southern Georgia transplant, I kind of enjoy the sun but definitely the weather in San Diego, where I reside with a husky and crazy guy. I am punk/gothic/harajuku/retro in my dress, activities, and intrests so I have an overflowing closet that looks a bit like Betty Page day/footwear with some Ramones/Rammstein band tees thrown in without forgetting Morticia's dresses.

Music is very important to me. I listen to a lot of rock, metal, heavy metal, hard rock, hardcore, industrial, death metal, some dubstep, symphonic metal, melodic metal, and when a mood takes me, I get down on swing, big band, a little bit of upbeat Cajun jazz. I also appreciate the classics like Mozart (who inspires a LOT of metal), Paganini, and other crazies of their times.

Books are my escapes into the minds of others. I read a lot of sci-fi (Asimov, Bradbury), fantasy (Bradley, Martin), and horror too! I grew up on Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and Tolkien. I speed read so books are snacks not meals.

My next love to audio enjoyment is definitely audio/visual in long standard sections. I am five minutes away from a movie theatre and it is a true part of my schedule to go at least once a month. Shows can be so immersive and I enjoy the temporary transportation to other realms. I, again, am very much into horror, action, documentary, and occasionally an animated film. I do not enjoy comedy, rom-com, or kid's films.

When it comes to crafts, I do not have a wide variation. I paint/draw with acrylics, inks, and oils. I occasionally practice my origami. I am not into fabric craft unless it means sewing on a button or replacing a broken zipper. I do so love to write so pen-palling and postcards are a collectible thing for me. We shall not speak of my stamps, my precious stamps... I will have to state that scrapbooking or the like is something I really detest. The squished fake flower with motivational word or phrase is a bit infuriating to me as it usually looks rushed/cheap/uninspired. However, it is my opinion and I respect all that enjoy that craft. I am sure many do not enjoy the amount of black I use in my art so I do not mind if you stated thusly.
