Hello there! I'm doing Read and Comment on Your Partner's Profile and you are one of my partners! Actually, this is my very first swap!
You and I have a couple of things in common. I'm also a mom to two grown-up children. They both still live at home right now, though. I also love travelling and seeing new places.
I've never made an ATC, although I have made a lot of my own greeting cards. I also crochet all the time, and love to make amigurumi, purses, and other little things, like wash cloths and scarves.
What else about me?
I live in Maryland and work in law enforcement.
I also am really close to my two kids and spend a lot of time with them. I have had the same boyfriend for about a year now, and that's going well. He's quite a bit younger than me!

We have so much in common with the dislike part hehe. I hate DRAMA too, kids who are disrespectful I cant stand watching them arguing or fighting with their parents, being taken advantage off and housework too. I think thats life sometimes we just cant avoid. My family here in Japan is like that they love drama Im living with my aunt here so 2 months ago i was so stressed with their family situation because I was not used to it I grew up with a peaceful home but now Im fine I was already used with their drama but sometimes I just cant stand it.
I also love meeting new people. good thing you have facebook. Im very glad to have facebook account coz I can still communicate or chat with my friends and family as well.

Nice t meet you on swap-bot! I have only recently joined so it is a good way to 'meet' the people here.
I have never made an ATC and had never heard of them before I joined swap-bot. I am not very crafty and creative. But I am also (just like you) always curious about how people respond to the swaps. So far I have received very interesting and nice things. Unlike you I don't like birthdays, because it is always a hazzle of finding the right present. I do never expect anything myself and believe if you want to give away presents you can do it any time not only on special days. And I don't enjoy birthday parties.
I also love to read and am in charge of the school library so I have a wide choice. At the moment I am reading ' The Kite Runner' - do you know the book? I can also recommend detective novels by Indridason. I have read several and loved them.

I enjoyed reading your profile, getting to know a little about you.I like making handmade Postcards the best - it is getting more difficult to buy store-bought-just cannot find them:-( I became addicted to ATCs and Matchboxes after finding Swap-bot. My favorite Quote:
