Even though everything has gone all techy, I still enjoy snail mailing letters and FB's. I'm hoping to find similarly-minded folks here. :)
When I'm not working (accounting - zzzzzzzzz), I'm big into stitching (cross stitch and blackwork) in my spare time.
I travel vicariously through the letters I write and receive, so I'm always looking for new snail mail pen pals. Drop me a line if you are, too!
Hope to hear from you!
All of the true crime and who-done-it's. Love some good sci-fi as well (The Expanse).
Love period pieces and the like; show me the costumes and the hairdo's and all that.
International shows and movies are exciting, as well, if only to hear another language for a while.
Sewing, cross stitch, blackwork, I'd love to learn embroidery at some point. Really like making my own envelopes.
I enjoy painting, but I suck at it.
Jewelry-making and chainmaile were a side gig for me a while back, but I got so burned out. I can still do it, but the joy is gone.
For the most part, I enjoy swapping:
paper currency and coins
At the moment, I'm not terribly into swapping:
ATC's (though they are very interesting, and I can see myself getting into them in the future)
Victorian and art deco style
Chewy, gummy candies
I also don't mind edgier, more "adult" things as well. I'll leave that to your imagination - LOL.
any and all manner of blank journal - lined, unlined, fancy expensive ones, the awesome $1 ones they have at Michaels, i don't care - they ALL call to me!
All manner of ephemera, really. Except postcards. I do not collect postcards.
