Thank you for the CPG July postcard. My favorite word is antidisestablishmentarianism. It has been my favorite word since I was 8 years old. It has 28 letters and 12 syllables. It was fun to say when Was young and pea;le would be surprised I could pronounce it and spell it!
Thanks ever so much for the CPG July wishes. Yes, I am very much a fan of Halloween, in the Highlands we went out guising (taken from the word disguising) and we would carry a lantern made from a turnip around with us. I could not imagine not ever having a lantern! We would ask if they had anything for Halloween and if yes they would ask us what are you going to do and you would have to do something to get a treat. Most people gave out monkey nuts but the odd person gave sweets or money. The most prized treat was a toffee apple or some tablet!
