I am a married lady (June 26, 2010) living in a medium sized city in Wisconsin.

My husband, Doug, has this beautiful beard that he started growing a few months ago, he has started collecting combs for it. We are a very quirky couple.

I have a cat named Louis. He's an adorable Tabby.

I am an assistant manager at a shoe store. (but I really dislike shoes)

I spend a lot of time in my car because work is a half hour away.

I've been obsessed with organizing my home for the last year...and it is still a work in progress. I am a planner addict. I've got two right now and a new Filofax that I am using as a wallet. I can't believe I've never tried that before, it's amazing! Planner and wallet in one!!

I try to find things as inexpensively as possible. I feel like the dollar store has ruined my life because I never want to pay more than a dollar for anything.

That's not to say that I won't spend money on swaps. I really enjoy spoiling other people and love seeing well-filled out profiles with interesting little bits of information.

I do not have cable. My husband and I watch Netflix and HULU. We upgraded our internet this year so that we can download and do anything that we need to while watching TV.

The shows we watch are diverse.

I love anything that is Documentary-like. I plopped down and watched a 6 part series on Egypt the other night, why? Why not?

I like watching shows like:

I recently started watching Ally McBeal...meh.

I HATE the show Futurama. Words cannot express. UGGH.

IF THERE IS A SHOW THAT YOU LOVE AND YOU THINK I WOULD LIKE, LET ME KNOW!!! I am always looking for something new and awesome. Worst case scenario: I wasted an hour of my life. :) I've done that doing far stupider things.
-This would be a great add-on for a swap. A little note card with a TV or movie recommendation! DO THAT!!-

I am pretty open to trying anything. I am in the family of thought that if you LOVE it, it must be pretty amazing. I actually do "Katie's Favorite Things" for Christmas each year. I think that it is perfect to introduce things that you love to other people.

I have no food allergies. I'm only allergic to sulfa drugs. So, please don't send me anything moldy.

I like Chocolate.
I like nuts.
I like sweets.
I really like gummy candies.
I don't hate on candy.
Soup mixes.
Bread mixes and the like.

I am a HUGE fan of paper products.
I am a big fan of planners.
I love sticky notes.
Scrapbook Paper
anything organizational related.

I really cannot stress this enough. I LOVE office supplies! I have boxes and totes and bins all filled with them, they all get used, too. So if you don't know what to send me, send me something like that.

Things that smell good.
I like things are spicy and sweet.

frosted cupcake.

I don't burn candles, I use a wax melter.

I like all colors. Do people really hate specific colors? I currently am using a Yellow Personal Sized Filofax, so I am always on the hunt for brightly colored office supplies.

I prefer Coke to Pepsi

Dislikes: -ooh, I do not like black licorice. I've tried SO many times, but I just can't hack it.
-I am a Christian, so I appreciate receiving things that are tied in with my faith. However, my grandfather was a religious writer and researcher, so I am also very open to learning about different religions. I have books in my home about a few different religions, and there is always room to learn more.
-Generally speaking I don't like Blue Pens. Unless it is like some fantabulous electric blue psychadellic pen. Then maybe I'll try it. I use Black for every day and I rarely stray far from that. Although I did just use a pink pen the other day to write a single sentence.

I had plans to put together this great BOOK section. But the truth is, I have had so little time in the past few years to read ANYTHING that I haven't finished more than maybe 5 books in the last 2 years.

I do enjoy Amish Romance Novels. Oh man! They are just ADORABLE! I have a stock pile of them, so I'll be good for the next 10 years or so.

I also skim through, and usually don't finish Bible Study books. My sister and I were going to start a two lady book club, we bought the books, and never followed through. Remind me to call her. :)

I read comic books. Last year I was really interested in them, but now they just sit. I used to read Bat Woman, Cat Woman and a hand full of others, but those two were my favorites. Bat Woman for the art and the story line, Cat Woman for her vivacious-ness. Who doesn't love a villain?

I cried, I read it in a day, and it changed my outlook on life.
