I am pretty much a grown child, but with a functioning sense of responsibility. I can be a conundrum. I realized that I have flip flops and "fancy" shoes but nothing in between. This is partly to blame on my dogs, and partly on the shoe industry, or at least that’s how I like to see it. I would love to travel. I have always felt I should see my own country first, but recently I have wondered if I should visit other countries while we still have affordable air travel. I would start with Iceland! I would also like to see Scotland and Ireland. There are lots of places I would love to see, but those are probably the top.

I graduated from and work for Virginia Tech. However, I live in the National Capital Region, and work at the Center in Falls Church, not the main campus. You might think this would make maroon and orange my favorite colors but my absolute favorite is cerulean blue!

I love crafts, and any excuse to craft. I have dabbled in knitting, beading, sewing, origami and more. I also like to bake.

I have two dogs and love animals in general so anything pet related usually gets a thumbs-up from me.

I can be sarcastic but I worry that people don't get my jokes. I love conversations from the serious to the inane. I am opinionated but love to hear opposing views as long as they are respectful of my right to disagree. I can get loud but I prefer the term animated. I also prefer interesting to crazy, just fyi...

I am a fan of ellipsis... I probably use them wrong... I have horrible spelling and only passable grammar but I incredibly dislike when people use good when they should use well. Sorry.

I prefer mixed CDs with songs from friends. I like to know what other people feel good listening to. This means you can find me listening to almost anything. I have had Clutch, Foo Fighters, and Dave Matthews stuck in my head most recently with Dream a Little Dream and Sweet Caroline playing as my own personal elevator/hold music.

I have been on a SciFi - supernatural kick recently but I like anything that truly captures the imagination. I have also been watching a lot of BBC shows. I love Dr Who, both the older stuff and current episodes. Has anyone else noticed that each generation of the doctor seems to be younger than the last?

I also like to read chick-lit it lets me relax the brain. I think that the Southern-Vampire Series, which HBO's True Blood is based off of, is somewhere between the two of these. I like the series, but find the characters, except Jason, were more attractive in my mind.

Other TV Shows I wish I could give up: House, Dexter, L&O:SVU, Torchwood, Ok I fibbed I dont want to give any of these up!

I love otters, wolves, dragons, butterflies, koi, and have recently developed a fascination for birds of prey, especially owls.

Character wise I am an Eeyore and Tinkerbell fan... but try not to go overboard with them.

I also love anything that glows in the dark!

I collect Shotglasses. This started accidently but I love getting new and odd ones, or ones from places I haven't been. Most of my friends and family bring them back for me when they go on vacations. I would love to someday go all the places I have shotglasses for.
