Yesterday afternoon, while Rascal was waiting on me to feed her, she fell asleep on the porch. She must really feel safe around me. It was an awww moment. I couldn't sleep last night so I was outside at 3:30AM and she brought the babies up on the porch. She nearly took off my leg (she never touched me, but tried her hardest to) trying to get me to feed her. She got in a fight with one of the babies over some bread. She ran off with it into the woods, leaving the other two behind with me. They didn't see where she went, so they were crying. I stayed with them until she came back for them. I was so sad listening to them cry. They just looked at me like, "what do we do?"
Thank you for the HMPC for the OMAE July RAK Attack! I love Miss "Oh Hell No." I haven't been getting cabin fever too often. I did have the option of staying home and doing my therapy session online or going into the office last month and I chose the latter. I HAD to get out of the house. The only times I get out now are to go the PO and the Dollar General or Family Dollar in the next county over which is 5 minutes away. The bad thing is that the rednecks who live there don't understand what social distancing is. Last week not only did I have two people break SD with me, but they got deep into my personal space!!! I didn't say anything because I didn't want them to respond and potentially spit coronavirus on me as they were talking. Sometimes it's safer just to be quiet.
Thanks for the ray of effing sunshine OMAE July RAK PC!! Keeping cool will be the name of the game here this week. We are going to have the highest temps of the season in a couple days, like most of the country, it seems! Ya'll are probably used to it...
Thank you for all the return address labels you sent me for the cheap postage pib tag in the PF. It was so generous of you to send so many! I shouldn't need any for a while (well, let's hope so LOL!).
