Right? I would blame it on having to be forwarded, but I have gotten a handful of letters sent to the wrong address weeks after you sent that one, so she must've stopped in Vegas on the way.
You will never guess what stumbled into my mail box today, smelling of booze, sweat and cheap cigars*- the original ATC's you sent for our swap! They are 100% unharmed, not so much as a crease on the envelope so who knows what they were up to. I'm so glad they made it home!
Also, I would absolutely love to informally exchange mail art. I do a lot of informal mail art pals outside swap-bot too because often the mood strikes faster than I can find a swap for. I really ought to write myself up a mailing list and just distribute zines and things that way... So expect some random mail, randomly.
*envelope did not actually smell of any of those things.
No fist shaking from me! I totally meant to snap some pictures for you, but was distracted by the volunteers explaining everything I had already read on the website and generally being in my way when we arrived. Also, it was hot. They have it in a little office building in like a big strip of offices. It's weird. But yeah, wallpaper, and we got some tiny tiles for D&D terrain building (nerds, I know ;). So, yeah, it was good fun! :D
So, I went to the reuse center near here (FABMO is the name), on my b-day 10 days ago and then got ill and forgot to tell you about it! They didn't have too much arty stuff, but more fabric, wallpaper, and tile. We all did get some neat things (I took 3 friends). I had a ball in the wallpaper room! Got a bunch that was cool looking and bunch that was okay looking to use for wrapping paper. Also got a few fabric sample books with awesome fabrics in them. No paper stuffs there though. :( But I did convince my pals that we need to find another close by (this one was 50 miles, and the closest I've found) and take another road trip. Thanks again for telling me about them!!!

OMG we must have been opening our mail at the same time. I got your resend+ surprise today. That's so sweet of you to send new atcs, you totally didn't have to but I agree the originals likely got eaten by the mail beast. More importantly, oh my god. When I saw the aggressive snake in your flicker feed I was immediately jealous of whoever it was for. That fucker is getting a prime spot above my desk. He's the best.
