Response: Note 5/31/2010 this was originally rated as a 3. That is why I protested in the earlier response. I had actually cleared it with her first. I had told her I had lost the locket that I had originaly purchased for her. It was a very small sterling silver heart locket. I told her I was going to go get her another one. She said that was OK as long as I didn't do like the last person and send the photos separate from the locket like the other person did before me in another swap. I also told her I was trying to find her something special for her profile which was hearts. I sent her a rather nice sized vintage sterling silver heart locket that was tarnished with 2 pictures inside( only required 1) I left it tarnished because some people like the patina..I had to search through boxes to find it at the little treasure place I go to that sells things like that by weight...I paid $5. for it , plus I found the orinigal as I was searching for an envie to mail it in and sent her both. with a kind note thanking her for her patience and that I had left the patina because i thought it would be up to her if she liked it that way. 2 sterling silver lockets? So she changed the rating to a five after I left the response. So much for me raving and being indignent to people....It did make me wonder hadn't she heard of silver polish? Or any other means of cleaning jewelry? Heaven only knows where vintage lockets have been. Are you sure iT was smoke you smelled and not the smell of tarnish?

Response: I did ask why I didn't get a heart. updated 3/28/10 I has been my experience that somehow in the mail, charms I have received at times have fallen off ...But I could not see gaps in the jump rings and they were still on the bracelet, of the ones I received. Mystery?

Response: I am so glad you like her. Her mask is made out of a small butterfly applique, used tiny punch I use for brad holes for eye holes. Curled feathers myself, they are regular craft feathers. You just drag them across a knife or scissors , just like you do the curly Q's for Christmas ribbon. Peace,B.
