Comment: I'm a big Whovian myself, although I have to say my absolute favorite of all time doctor is Tom Baker, with Matt Smith and David Tennant vying for 2nd place. I've worked at several conventions, such as ACen (for about 6 years now) and GenCon. I've been to tons of other ones as well. As someone who was plagued with thick glasses throughout her school years I would suggest the ultra-thins lenses that are available now. They aren't that expensive and there are many more different frames for them then are available to you with thick lenses.

Same thing with Captain Jack (John Barrowman), only a little less, since he is openly bisexual in the Doctor Who and Torchwood series. :P
