I have a few questions... First of all, what is "fake" kawaii? And also, is it acceptable for this swap? There is a Japanese store called Daiso near my college that I love to get stationery from, but I don't know if it sells real kawaii. Thanks for your help!

You'll see Daiso in the not permitted list in most kawaii swaps along with Diddl, Disney and Peanuts.

Sanrio, San-X, Crux, Mind Wave, Kamio, Pool Cool, Lemon are major brands have good design and product quality. For good examples, browse kawaiidepot.com and shopkawaii.com. Also my favorite sticker flake seller is on etsy: http://www.etsy.com/shop/CutePaperEtc?ref=top_trail
