You will create a themed letter writing kit for your assigned partner. Once your partner is assigned you can check their profile to get a better idea of what kind of themes they may like in their kit (certain flowers, llamas, Mexican folk art, succulents, sport teams, colors, This Is Us tv show...β¦.) and begin thinking how to incorporate one or many of their interests into a kit. To sign up for this swap: You must have 15 completed type 2 or 3 swaps with no unresolved 1's. For this round you will send your partner:1 Pen or writing marker2 or more washi tape samples (may be wrapped on a playing card at least 12 inches of tape per design)5 blank notecards with envelopes(or may be Thank you or Hello cards)2 lettersets (each letterset should be an envelope with 2 or more pieces of coordinating paper- letterset may be storebought or handmade by you)3 Postcards (check your partner's profile to send them postcards they may like. May be store bought or handmade)add one more item of your choice that is handmade or store bought (decorated paperclips, penpal or letter themed stamp and ink pad, gift tags, postcard or letter mailing stamps for them to use, stickers)Finally...β¦ think of a nice way to package it up for your partner which would be a way for them to store it. It could be as simple as a clear pencil-type pouch, a small canvas drawstring bag, a cigarette box or even a handmade folder. Just make something you would be thrilled to receive. For instructions to make the folder go here: http://unifyhandmade.blogspot.ca/2013/07/diy-card-kit.html Photo from Etsy shop: LostArtRevived |
