can this be more of a collage? with lots of creativity i promise!

Things I like: Blade Runner, They Might Be Giants, Katamari Damacy, Doctor Who Villains (old skool), The Prisoner, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

I second the collage question -- I can't draw or paint anything you'd recognize, haha, but I could still make it nice!

As long as you do alot of alteration. Like don't just take a print out or magazine cut out and throw some glitter on but like if take like several different elements and combine them together into a unique image sure. but it would be no fun if your partner can download the exact same picture themselves so make sure it's a one of a kind.

Don't be put off by this swap if you can't draw. Just give it your very best effort ... it's not like your partner is going to rate you down if you're not a gifted graphic artist, right?

@wunderland -- you clearly haven't seen my very best effort at drawing, hahaha. I could see the rating now, "I'm giving you a 1 because even though it meets swap requirements and came on time, I rather wish I'd not even received it. Yuck!"

I'm thinking about joining this one. Not sure if I'll try my hand at drawing or do collage, but I have a question about both: Should it be one big image of the person/item, or could it be a medley type thing? Watching for now. :)

The whole point is to put some effort into it. I would rather see a crayon drawing by a 5-year old than the Mona Lisa on a postcard. The point is to have fun. Too much of life we are being evaluated, Swapbot should be a sanctuary.

A medley is fine. You mean like if you wanted the image to feature several of their fav characters instead of just one, yeah that's fine.

I totally agree with @Chaz ... I'm not so much concerned with being wowed as much as seeing the diversity of what people come up with, that in itself is wow enough for me really :)
