Hey! I’m Abe (or Abraham if you feel like being fancy). I’m a 34 year old queer trans man. I had my first pen pal when I was 4 years old and as email and online messaging took over most communications, I’ve missed seeing something fun in my mailbox!

I live with my fiancé (Sav) and our pets ( a hamster named Maggie, a betta fish named Marquis Mark, and a snail named Chuck). I studied English/Creative Writing in college and write some poetry myself, but haven’t really settled on a career path just yet. For now I work at a pet shop and do some random odd jobs like pet sitting, handy work, and landscaping.

I’m a pretty crafty person and between Sav and I, we do a little bit of everything. Our apartment is small but we have an entire dresser dedicated to keeping all of our crafty bits and bobs. We both love polymer clay and paper crafts. Sav is more into cooking than I am, but recently I’ve been trying out cake decorating!

I mark my swaps sent as soon as they are dropped in the box, which means sometimes it won’t be postmarked until the next day. But if you don’t receive your swap PLEASE message me. I have no problem resending if something gets lost or horribly damaged in the mail. I never want my swap partners to miss out on the happy in their mailbox! Also, because of health and transportation concerns I may be a day late with sending things out now and then. Though I will always try my hardest and will ALWAYS message you if something will be sent late.

I LOVE Marvel movies (a bit of a comic book geek). Iron Man if my favorite. And really I’ll watch anything with Robert Downey Jr. in it. The Sixth Sense is still one of my favorites of all time. The Harry Potter series, of course. I also love old Hugh Grant movies (Notting Hill, About A Boy, and such). To Kill a Mockingbird. Little Miss Sunshine. Leaves of Grass. The Cat From Outerspace. Martian Child. Perks of Being a Wallflower.

TV

Supernatural. Sherlock. Avatar: The Last Airbender. The Office. Parks and Rec. Schitt’s Creek. Good Omens. Death Note. The Gilmore Girls. Stranger Things. Game of Thrones. Steven Universe. Over the Garden Wall. And most 90s cartoons :)

I also love a good competition show, like Blown Away, The Great British Baking Show, and such. I also watch a lot of home makeover type shows.

I’ll listen to anything really from John Prine to Weezer. I enjoy checking out new music often, Though my knowledge of hip-hop or rap isn’t very extensive, my partner has been introducing it to me.
