Hey! I’m Abe (he/they) or Abraham if you feel like being fancy. I had my first pen pal when I was 4 years old and as email and online messaging took over most communications, I’ve always preferred seeing something fun in my mailbox!

I live with my fiancé, Sav(they/she), and our pets (a betta fish named Pearl and a leopard gecko named Markl). I studied English/Creative Writing in college and write some poetry myself, but haven’t really done much with that degree. For now I work at a pet shop and do some random odd jobs like pet sitting, handy work, and landscaping.

I mark my swaps sent as soon as they are dropped in the box, which means sometimes it won’t be postmarked until the next day. But if you don’t receive your swap PLEASE message me. I have no problem resending if something gets lost or horribly damaged in the mail. I never want my swap partners to miss out on the happy in their mailbox! Also, because of health and transportation concerns I may be a day late with sending things out now and then. Though I will always try my hardest and will ALWAYS message you if something will be sent late.

I loved the start of theMarvel movies (Ironman and Spiderman are my favorite) but I haven’t been keeping up with them. The Sixth Sense is still one of my favorites of all time. I also love old Hugh Grant movies (Notting Hill, About A Boy, and such). To Kill a Mockingbird. Little Miss Sunshine. Leaves of Grass. The Cat From Outerspace. Martian Child. Perks of Being a Wallflower.

TV

Supernatural. Sherlock. Avatar: The Last Airbender. The Office. Parks and Rec. Schitt’s Creek. Good Omens. Death Note. The Gilmore Girls. Stranger Things. Steven Universe. Over the Garden Wall. The Last of Us. And most 90s cartoons :)

I also love a good competition show, like Blown Away, The Great British Baking Show, and such. I also watch a lot of home makeover type shows.

I’ll listen to anything really from John Prine to Weezer. I enjoy checking out new music often, Though my knowledge of hip-hop or rap isn’t very extensive, my partner has been introducing it to me.
