Hi everybody! I am a woman living in Sweden, and I have two daughters, one aged 16 and one 6 years old.
I´m 36 years old, interested in all sorts of things, but totally PASSIONATE about Christmas. (When one sings Christmas carols in June it must be passion... or is it just madness?) LOL.
Things I like: (although I must say I get happy for most things, so feel free to surprise me!)
**Chic lit! Especially LYNDA RENHAM novels, got them all, also have all Katie Fforde.
** BBC Sherlock! Me and my oldest daugher are crazy about this series! Anything store bought or handmade very much appreciated **
¤ Travel! We often travel and are members of an organisation where we quite often have guests over from other countries who just need a couch for the night, and where we can go and stay with someone too. It´s great, and shows there is still some trust in this world. :o) So, travel-related items are always good.
¤ Flea-markets, old stuff, like photos and life stories from the past.
¤ Baths
¤ Stickers
¤ Blank Birthday / Christmas cards for all ages in English. We have a lot of family in England, and it´s hard to get hold of English ones.
¤ Christmas/Birthday present Gift Tags - all year around! Can´t get enough!
¤ Letter writing / paper / Letter sets / Cute envelopes
¤ Invitation cards, party, dinner, etc (doesn´t have to be a whole set, would be happy for one! In Sweden there´s not enough of those things)
¤ Candles / tea lights
¤ Coffee & Tea (no nuts)
¤ Small cloths for table or cleaning with
¤ Postcards, blank or written on
¤ Baking stuff esp. cute toppings and cases
I am unfortunately allergic to all types of nuts and fruits, but my family eats them.
For family related swaps: My oldest daughter is crazy about Kawaii, Japan and Beyoncée, youngest likes all sorts of stuff, Skylanders, Lego, LSP, stickers, drawing. Husband likes English chocolate bars he is missing here in Sweden, (or any chocolate for that matter!)
Reggae and soca, David Gray. New stuff, Sound tracks from movies, Sigur Rós, Latin, Rock, Pop, Jazz, African music, Christmas music works for me all around the year ;) Listen to all sorts of music really!
Bridget Jones diary, Pride and prejudice, Notting hill, While you were sleeping and other feel good/romantic movies + ANYTHING X-massy.
Anything British! Like Life begins, the office, peep show, the trip, Alan Partridge, thin blue line, Green wing, black adder + Whose line is it anyway.
Bit of simple scrapbooking + photography and baking (is that a craft?)

Haha I am ALWAYS singing Christmas songs!! I sang them all summer and people would look at me like I was crazy lol cause it was super hot in Texas this summer.
We are so differents but all so similiarity!
Hi! "Christmas in July" is a common phrase here, sometimes stores have sales with that theme! So you are definitely not alone! At least we live in the Northern Hemisphere so Santa doesn't wear a bikini in our Chimneys! I bet Sweden has some wonderful old world stories and traditions about Christmas!
I love to sing at work, and frequently it's a holiday song that escapes my lips without me even realizing it...until I notice everyone staring at me like I'm nuts cuz it's May... hee hee!
Nice getting to know you! Kept thinking of all the English Bday cards I wanted to send you ;0)
~Andrea a.k.a. "Nekozet" for the "We're So Differents" swap!
Hi Karoline. I also start singing Christmas music in the summer. It drives my mom crazy. Lol. Have you heard Josh Groban's Noel CD? It's really awesome. He does little drummer boy so well.
I also love the movie Pride and Prejudice. My favorite is the one with Keira Knightley. Notting Hill is another one of my favorites. Have you seen Jane Eyre that came out this year starring Michael Fassbender? I absolutely loved it and the book also. :)
Well, have yourself a merry little Christmas. :) KraftyKaren "we are so similars...." swap
