My favorite colors are green & teal & turquoise, but I truly love all colors (except maybe peach).

I love animals & have one Golden Lab & 2 cats -- all rescue animals.

Birds are also a favorite of mine, especially cardinals & blue jays. We used to have them in our backyard all year long, but since moving to Ireland, I miss them dearly. We have lovely birds here, too ... just not those two! A Bird journal is on my to-do-list!

I love to make journals, tags, flip books, ATCs, bookmarks, zines -- all kinds of crafty paper goodness! I also quilt, sew, knit & crochet. I love to read & to oil paint. I collect cows & Santas, souvenir spoons & tourist/map postcards. (Okay, any postcard is fine, really.) And maps, as well as used postage stamps. I love amigurumi & Winnie the Pooh & friends (especially Eeyore).

My collections also include anything I can use in making junk journals & ATCs, etc. Such as lace, buttons, ribbons, ephemera, music sheets, book pages (especially foreign languages), stickers, washi tape, paper napkins, tea- & coffee-dyed papers ... whatever works. At the moment, I'm collecting anything Winnie the Pooh & Friends for one journal, & Gorjuss Girls for another. And then there's my botanical journal. And ... there are always plans in the works!

I love polka dots, stripes & plaids. And origami!

I love handmade items. If you take the time to make me something handmade, whatever it is, rest assured it will be cherished! And I love to make things for other people!

Knitting & crocheting is a big part of my life. I started a knit/crochet club in town, & we're all itching to get back to it! I really love knitting socks & mittens & shawls. Oh, & I love amigurumi.

I also quilt & sew. I've hosted quilting swaps in the past in a different forum.

I'm a reader & I love non-fiction, biographies & historical fiction, but not the bodice-ripper kind. I also like some fantasy, but it has to have dragons, elves &/or dwarves in it; no vampires or werewolves for me! Yes, I love The Hobbit!

My favourite movies are Mamma Mia, Under the Tuscan Sun, The Hobbit (of course), The Holiday. We watch a lot of police/detective shows on tv, & I love medical shows as well. I love Downton Abbey, Father Brown, Inspector Lewis, Shetland, Vera ... the list sgoes on.

As for my taste in music ... well, it's eclectic. Groups I love are ABBA, Lone Star, Blackhawk, the Eagles, Queen, Disturbed, Alabama, Journey, to name a few.

My favourite season is autumn. I just love the colours of autumn. I also love winter & snowmen, Santa & elves. My favourite holiday is Christmas! And I love handmade Christmas ornaments! (Another collection, I'm afraid! Haha!)

Dislikes? Well, I don't drink coffee or flavored tea (only plain green tea). Anything smelling of cigarette smoke is a big turnoff. I don't know if I have any dislikes when it comes to paper! If I think of anything, I will add it here.

I'm married with two adult daughters. We're retired -- hubby retired two years ago -- & retirement is the best thing since sliced bread!

I love postcards! My favorite are MAP CARDS. I would love any U.S. State Map cards or Canadian province map cards. Also, any map cards from other countries would be more than welcome. I enjoy all tourist postcards.
