About Me

Hello! My name is Flynt and I'm an arty type person from Melbourne, Australia. I mostly enjoy fibre based arts (spinning, knitting, sewing), but I am also learning to play the bass guitar, and I love reading.

I like pretty much everything, but have a total soft spot for anything kawaii! I'm also happy to send random Aussie goods out into the wide blue yonder.

Favorite Books

Anything by Neil Gaimen, "Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss. All the books I can find authored by Kerry Greenwood, and pretty much anything else I can get my hands on. Fave genre, pretty much fantasy :)

Comment: oooh...you're the best ever! No one's ever given me handspun yarn before. It's so soft like my favorite burly wool yarns but with all the magical colors you usually only find in nylon and other synthetics. Best of both worlds plus some kind of crazy magic. I love the bags too! I bring projects on the bus and all over town but I've never had a REAL project bag with pockets before, just random totes. I'll be sure to use these practical and beautiful bags pronto. Thanks, you're really awesome!

Comment: Thank you! This is great! I'm definitely going to try one of the teas tonight, since it's been a gross rainy day! I love the bookmark and the cute stitching on it! And the coaster is AMAZING! I love the little embroidered steam!!! And I'm definitely messy (my mom used to call me 'Spill-tor!') so it's great that I can wash the coaster! But in general! I love it!!! And it's the 2nd international swap I've ever gotten, so I was very awesome to get something from Australia!
