I've been doing art since I was 13 (I'm currently in my early 20s) and I mainly use colored pencil, marker, and acrylic but I also dabble in scratchboard, needle felting, sculpting with polymer clay, and digital. I've been trading ATCs on AFA for a little over a year and have 230+ trades. I am also a swap hostess on AFA. I'm excited to branch out and trade with new people here on Swap-Bot!
Please let me know if my cards don't arrive to you, I'd rather resend cards than get a low rating.
Side note: I mark things as sent once they are packed up and ready to go, it might not be the same day as they are picked up.
Ask me about Private Trades if you do handdrawn/handpainted ATCs. :)
PLEASE STICK TO FLAT MEDIA!
These things are ok: markers, pens, gel pens, pencils, colored pencil, any paints, pastel, crayon, scratchboard, glued on flat paper (patterned paper or newspaper type is nice), small stickers, colored in stamps, glitter, embossing powders, washi tape, paper cut outs, any inks, papercut art with no more than 3 layers
These things are NOT ok: 3D stickers, lace or other bumpy fabric, sequins, beads, pop dots, buttons, rhinestones, staples
BUMPY CARDS CAN DAMAGE MY CARD BINDER, I HAVE TO STORE THEM SEPARATELY FROM THE REST OF MY CARDS!
I only collect traditional and mixed media artist trading cards. I also collect paper dolls sometimes.
I love it when it looks like a piece of the artist came with the card! I really love expressive or distinctive art. I love seeing how different people tackle the same themes. :)
I mainly like human (male and female) and animal (preferably with recognizable species instead of whimsical) art. I have a soft spot for portraits, exotic animals, predator type animals, cute/fuzzy/fluffy animals, and people/animals/creatures with wings or fins.
I am also collecting fantasy creatures, mythical creatures, gods/goddesses, mythical half humans, Little Red Ridinghood, Alice in Wonderland, some animes (like Mushishi, Studio Ghibli, Satoshi Kon, and Makoto Shinkai), some video game fanart (like the Shin Megami Tensei and Persona series), bones, space (also things with any subject but with a space background), surrealist art, bugs/insects, flowers/trees/landscapes, zentangle (not the abstract stuff, needs a representational element), art nouveau, and steampunk.
Prints and collage don't interest me. I do not want bulky cards!
I dislike florescent/neon colors, sticker slapping (although I do enjoy stickers themselves! Haha), horror themes (although I do like some dark themes I prefer pretty/dark, emotive/dark, or cute/dark), overly religious themes (although I do collect gods/goddesses/angels/mythological creatures, I wouldn't want something with bible quotes or something like that).
