I live in a small town with a town square. However, I was raised in a big city and did some moving around before settling down with my husband of 13 years. I have one daughter who is 13 and very much enjoys doing just about whatever it is that I'm doing especially handcrafts. I am a cat person and currently have one named Reese as he is peanut butter color. We also ride motorcycles when weather permits.
I have wide and varied musical tastes. I like anything with a rockin beat, oldies, country, classical, and some jazz. 70's soul is my number one favorite.
I enjoy many different types of handcrafts however, beading is my passion. I have a craft room filled to over flowing with supplies and that's where it all happens. I also enjoy basket making, crochet, paper crafts, painting on wood, making snowmen, santas and angel bears among whatever else strikes my fancy.
I love to read! I enjoy mysterys, some romance, suspense, "ghost books" and the occaisional general contemporary novel. I often struggle between: should I do some sort of craft or should I read? It's a toss up! However, there is nothing like a rainy afternoon, a blanket, my cat, and a good book!
Favorite TV programs are Sons of Anarchy, ghost shows, CSI Miami, HGTV, DIY, The Dog Whisperer, Star Trek "The Next Generation", Emeril Live, The Closer, Saving Grace and occaisionally Project Runway. I love to see what can be created on Project Runway. Although I enjoy TV I don't watch it alot as I tend to be busy doing some sort of handcraft.
