I sew toys, dolls, simple bags, pretty much anything I can figure out how to sew (except clothing--haven't moved on to that. . .yet!).

I don't have an etsy store or actively sell things I make but I do some commission sewing (not clothing).

I try to sew and donate the items to charity so they don't clutter up my house. I'm currently sewing for the Fluff Project (stuffed toys for children in foster care)

I also make oil paintings and do other crafty stuff (like re-purposing altoid tins into cutesy stuff and embroidery).

Happily childfree.

I share my household with my spouse and two crazy cats, Eugene and Murry.

I'm not religious, so very religious things aren't my bag.

I'm also not into scrapbooking (though I do play around with using paper to re-do altoid tins).

Perfume/makeup--I'm sensitive to those things.

Disney princesses and mickey mouse. I don't dislike all Disney, but the princesses and mickey/minnie aren't my bag (I like the animal based movies, like 101 Dalmatians)

Candy: No coconut, raisins, or walnuts. Also no hazelnuts (I do like them but I'm mildly allergic so it's best not to have them around).

NOTE: When it comes to fabrics, I'm ok with receiving a bit of even the things I don't really like. So one piece of "disney princesses" isn't going to upset me (and I'll probably use a bit of it and/or pass it along to someone else).

Color/fabric preferences:

It's easiest if I list the things I really don't like so much (since I like pretty much all colors).

Not a fan of:

--"baby" shades like pastel pinks/blues

--navy blue

--hunter green

--Batiks (I just don't like them so much)

--camoflauge color patterns

--burberry print (plaid ok, just not burberry)

NOTE: When it comes to fabrics, I'm ok with receiving a bit of colors I'm not a fan of. One piece of it I'll probably use (or just pass along) but I just prefer not to get a whole package full of the things I don't care for.

T.V. likes:

--animation ("Bob's Burgers", "American Dad", "King of the Hill", "Boondocks", classic "The Simpsons", and classics like old school Tom and Jerry and Tex Avery cartoons--love those!)

--PBS programs like "Nature" and "Independent Lense"

--HBO series ("Carnivale", "The Sopranos", "Six Feet Under", etc)

--off beat comedy ("Raising Hope", "My Name is Earl", "The Middle", "Nurse Jackie", etc)

Movie likes:

--John Waters' films.

--gangster themed films ("Casino", "Godfather", etc)

--off beat/dark comedies ("In Bruge", "Slums of Beverly Hills", "Ghostbusters"--I adore Ghostbusters but HATE Ghostbusters II)

Guilty pleasure (movie/t.v.):

--"America's Next Top Model"

--serial killer themed movies (I'll even watch the really crappy ones)

--infomercials (I love watching diet/exercise ones, I don't buy the junk I just love watching them)

--memoirs (especially memoirs about addiction or escaping from a restrictive religion or humor memoirs--but not celebrity memoirs)

ABOUT SWAPS:

--I like to combine shipping whenever possible. I will always message a recipient before doing so and include notes in a package saying what swaps items are for.

--I like to plan ahead so I can send as quickly as possible (for less labor intensive swaps, like fabric swaps).

--I rate as I open packages (and I open immediately upon receipt).

--There really isn't any rhyme/reason to why I give hearts and I'm never trying to get hearts. So if I send extras it's because I felt you would like them, not because I'm "heart farming".

When hosting:

--I will angel any swap I host. But must rate your original partner '1' first.

--I am always open to private swaps, PM me if you are interested.
