I'm a Mom and a Grandma.... I retired a couple of years ago...I worked in the criminal justice field....Interesting but stressful! Glad to have the time to do the things I love to do without running out of time!

I am a scrapbooker by heart. My daughter gave me a scrapbook for my 50th birthday and I fell in love with the art. Then I found swap-bot and it opened a whole new world for me! I love making cards and ATC's which helps me get rid of my scrap paper. I also enjoy sewing. I sew for myself and for my grandkids and anyone else who wants something done. I guess over the years I've tried just about every craft there is but found that paper and material talks to me the loudest. Now that I am retired I am going to try my hand at quilting. I am more of a person who likes to start something and getting it done quickly. So a quilt will be something I will have to break down in pieces to finish. But I will try anything once. I notice that people put information on what they like and don't like in the way of craft items. I don't think there is anything I don't like in the way of crafts. I love getting postcards in the mail and my friends know that a post card and a frig magnet will make me happy.

I love to read and I read anything and everything I am reading the trilogy from Stieg Larsson right now. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo The Girl who Played with Fire and I am on the last one The Girl who Kicked the Hornets Nest. Wonderful books!!!!! ( I finished these books about a year ago, but they are still one of my fave series. I have a Nook so I NEVER run out of books!! Since I joined a book swap I thought that I would add a little more info here. I like reading Mysteries The authors that I have read recently are Jodi Picoult (mostly her older stuff nothing recent) David Baldacci, Harlan Coben, James Patterson read 9 of the Murder Club and all of the Cross books. I read probably all of Stephen King up until about 2 years ago.I started reading King again because I think he has gone back to his old style of writing or he found some old stuff in the closet. I'm not big on Romance Novels but if that is what you have I can always reswap.

I love all colors...depending on what day it is if it's my favorite color!

I tend to hoard my paper but this year I have decided to use it or share it because it does not deserve to sit in a drawer.
