You can pick whatever color speaks to you. I'm not picky. Eventually I would like to make a blanket with all the different swap squares and embroider little tags with the swap and sender's name on each one.
OOPS, Sorry, I finally did find the note you put in with the green fabric stash swap. Perhaps a bit of static electricity and it was stuck to the inside of the envelope, but since It was the same color as the envelope, I didn't notice until I was going to recycle it.
