Hi I'm Melissa and I was diagnosed with Crones disease in my early 20's. Only recently has this disease become de-habilitating to the point of not being able to work. After 3 surgeries during a 20+ hospital stay (that had me locked to a bed both Christmas and New years) I became very depressed and decided I didn't want to live this way - but instead of death I chose life - I chose to create - I chose to make the best of the time I have left on this planet in any and as many inspiring ways as possible. I am currently working on a book and in my free time (which is nearly all the time)!

I am new to this site as of October 2012 I love to swap my DECOS and Slams & Sticker bags!! I do DECO/SLAM/Sticker bag/ book swaps via snail mail with my own group I have created, consisting of about 40+ pals. This is just the place for a person like me! I am truly blessed to be a part of something so creative and great! Thank U and I cant wait to get started - I currently have a TON of small SWAP items I would like to get out but havent had any luck finding regional USA groups to get them going in.

I am currently struggling with a weight problem related to a terrible disease know as Crones, so (on a good day) I weigh just under 100lbs :(

my size in general is EXTRA SMALL

my length for legs is EXTRA LONG

my length for arms is also EXTRA LONG

my foot size is generally an 8 1/2 for slippers and socks that is usually a Medium or Large
