New to swapping and very excited, I can't wait to make some new contacts and learn some new things! Please give me a chance if I happen to make a mistake, or if things are lost in the mail - I will fix it as soon as I am aware of it. PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE GIVING ME A LOW RATING!
I am a Christian, a mom of four, an RN and I work part time at a Diabetes Outpatient Clinic. I get to spend the rest of my days at home with my kids (where I really want to be). I love anything outdoors - nature, canoeing, gardening, camping, boating and water sports such as hydrosliding (kneeboarding) & tubing. I love woodworking, hiking, animal watching, riding snowmobiles/four wheelers, rock climbing, target shooting with rifles and bow and arrows. I would have to say that my favorite color is green, but I enjoy all earth tones as well. I am trying to broaden my collection of colors in clothing lol. I would love to have a pen pal - if anyone is interested please PM me!
I enjoy pretty much anything I can get my hands on although there is a lot I have not yet tried or even heard of. I really like polymer clay, making special cakes and cupcakes (working with fondant), sewing doll clothes, coloring and crafting with my kids. I want to learn how to knit, crochet and to sew other things (than doll clothes - thankfully my daughter's dolls don't mind if I don't stitch their clothing straight! lol)
I don't watch a lot of TV, but when I catch some I specifically look for Grey's Anatomy, Survivor, Operation Repo, Survivorman, Biggest Loser, Mantracker, travel shows, and most all documentaries - especially if they have to do with nature, space, how things work/are made etcetera.
My husband loves hockey (the Canucks) boating, skiing hunting and camping etc - everything outdoors as I do.
I have four wonderful kids: two step kids and two of my own.
My stepdaughter, now 17 just graduated. She is looking at going into Education. She enjoys sewing watersports camping watching movies baking and hanging out with her friends.
My stepson, 16 is looking to go into psycology when he finishes highschool. He enjoys hockey (especially the Canucks) watching movies playing sports and hanging out with his friends.
My daughter, who just turned 5 loves coloring painting baking watching cooking shows gardening playing dressup playing with her dolls, the color pink, reading, princesses, animals, butterflies, sending/getting mail and any other crafts she can get her hands on.
My son, who just turned three loves anything hockey as well just like his dad and brother. He likes coloring and painting, doing crafts baking cutting paper into tiny little bits, gardening - anything dirt actually, working with his Dad playing with his cars and pretending to drive the van.
MYSELF Tea - any warm drinks actually, pretty jell pens, stationery, fondant accessories, information about/stories/pictures of other countries, christian themed items, fuzzy socks, heated mitts for the winter, fabric/accessories (lace/buttons/ribbons etc) for doll clothes/diapers, I do not have any stamps or inks and would love some, paper cutter would be awsome
MY DAUGHTER doll/barbie clothes, hair accessories, pink, dress-up accessories/jewlery, bright crayons/washable felts etc, her own paper - colored/white/construction/writing, her own envelopes, Little People and accessories from the 1970-1980s, mini cookie cutters/other baking supplies, fancy sissors (cuts fancy designs), stamps
MY SON toy cars, paper, crayons, glue, Little People once again, Canucks clothing Size 3 (Canadian/USA), envelopes, socks kids size 6
