IF YOU ARE MY PARTNER AND I HAVE CLICKED SENT, IT MEANS I SENT IT. IF YOU DON'T RECEIVE IT, MESSAGE ME AND LET ME KNOW.
I am 34, live in California and was born on Halloween (yes, I enjoy Halloween themed things). I am married with no children (although if my mother had ownership of my womb, she would have a grandchild by now). My fur baby is a rescue named Cali (which we extended to be Calico Ghost Dog since my landlord does not allow pets). I am on this site mainly for creative writing projects (including penpals, fiction, journaling and prompts) and to learn new crafts.
I used to work for a local newspaper for almost 8 years and was laid off for the 3rd and final time (due to company financial issues, it being a newspaper and all) in August, 2011. I hope to someday find a job that will fulfill my financial needs as well as my need to contribute to the welfare of my surrounding community.
I fully support Camp Ronald McDonald and if you get to know me, you may hear me rave about it. SEND ME YOUR SODA CAN TABS if you'd like. They go towards raising money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities (a portion goes to the camp which is for kids with cancer and their families).

*The color green!
*WHITE apparel! I think white is so plain, empty and too easy to mess up (with stains and such)
*Religious items. I'm not religious and I wouldn't want to re-swap the items because I don't want people to assume I am religious and start the circle all over again.
*Scarves. I've never worn a scarf, I like my hoodies, they work just fine.
*I'm not super big on candy.
*MINT and Cinnamon! Yuck, please don't send me mint tea or mint candies. I also don't like how they smell. I have to buy toothpaste that tastes less minty because I hate toothpaste taste. I like vanilla toothpaste. :D
NOTE: I'd prefer not to get things that smell like cigarette or cigar smoke. It causes me to have to separate them from the rest of my swap things because I don't want to smell to contaminate everything. :(
PURPLE is my favorite color
Ballpoint pens/felt tip pens/colorful markers (gel pens are hard for me to use since I'm left handed and they smear very easily as I'm writing)
Labyrinth memorabilia (the movie with David Bowie)
Aluminum pull tabs (like from soda cans)
Kawaii or regular stationary (if it's full size pages, I'd prefer lined paper - I write so crooked without guidance), preferably larger than memo size.
Kawaii food! (basically portrayal of cartoony food with human features like eyes, mouth, etc.) ((not real food, just like paper or stickers or pencils with them on it))
Diddl stationery - I cannot find it and really love the grid layout
Creative writing swaps
(mainly writing things, I am not very artsy)
