I am a native Oregonian, animal lover, nature lover and passionate crafter. I enjoy creating functional items and art using recycled and repurposed materials. I have been a floral designer for 15 years. I enjoy hiking and beachcombing with my husband and my dogs. I have been volunteering at my local animal shelter for the past few years and experience so much joy from the cast of canine characters I am fortunate enough to meet. I live with my husband of 15 years, my two dogs and my cat. I don't have kids, but I enjoy being an aunt and other people's kids are cool, especially if they like art.

THINGS I LOVE

Color: every color is beautiful in the right context. If I have to choose some favorites : Teal, aqua, orange, coral, chartreuse, poppy red.

I am a vintage paper fanatic! Children's books, maps, post cards, greeting cards, playing cards, wallpaper, cookbooks, botanical art, animal imagery.....

Interesting recycled materials, food wrappers (especially foreign foods) , found objects (natural or man made).....

I'm a huge animal lover (and a vegetarian), Dogs are my favorite. Also, giraffes, elephants. cats - wild and domestic, seahorses, tiny ocean birds, goats, donkeys, monkeys, bats.....

Nature, beaches, meadows, woods. Shells, driftwood, seed pods, feathers.....

Coconut, anything that has to do with coconut. I once had an orchid that had coconut scented blooms!

Comedy - a good laugh is so important! I;m not offended by swear words or edgy humor.

1950's kitchenware. My kitchen is full of it. I love collecting dishes, especially serving bowls and glassware.
