I just came across swap-bot while perusing Etsy and think it's amazing. I can't wait for my first swap and can't tell you how much I miss snail mail. I am a science student in my what seems like my millionth year. I have a large robot tattoo and some others on my arms. I also have just started a jewelry, bag and refurbished junk business.

My favorite crafts right now are jewelry making, stenciling, painting furniture, decoupage, drawing and sewing. I am an avid crafter and have will do any craft except scrapbooking. I love using found objects in my jewelry and taking junk I find at Goodwill and garage sales and making it loved again.

I love reading when I have the extra time. Being a full time student, full time worker and crafter makes it hard to read all the books I want. I have been mostly reading sci-fi/fantasy and I always love a good science or math book. I am a total science nerd and love all things science related.

I watch entirely too much T.V. I love watching all the trashy shows, its one of my only guilty pleasures. Right now my favorite shows are Work of Art on Bravo and Project Runway.

I have a pretty bad allergy to some metals and can't wear anything with nickel in it. Also I would not like any religious items, thanks.

I've really been liking the postcard swaps. I'd really like to receive postcards that arn't touristy or super generic. The weirder the better with me. Don't worry about anything offensive, I'd love to get something gross, politically incorrect, rude or strange. Also, I like when you write random facts or random tidbits about your life. Thanks!
