My name is Stefanie (with an f, not ph!). I'm 33 years old and live with my husband and baby daughter in Frankfurt in central Germany.

I'm a feminist and feel strongly about gender equality and women's rights. I'm not a stereotypical female and my family is not a stereotypical family (I go to work while my husband is on parental leave and taking care of our daughter).

In my free-time I like to do different kinds of things, I love to read, listen to music, watch Netflix and go to the cinema, practice Yoga, run, bake... I like to write letters to my penpals and exchange postcards, photos and other stuff. I love to learn foreign languages and get to know more about different cultures. I speak English, German and Italian and I'd like to learn Dutch and many other languages, if I just had more time... If you speak any language I don't know maybe you could teach me some sentences or words!

I like to knit, crochet and sew but also try other crafts. I recently got into Mail Art and also do some Smashbooking.

I'm a vegetarian and also try not to use anything which was tested on animals. Please keep that in mind when sending to me.

I always send out swaps on time, please contact me if you haven't received anything and I will resend!

I mark "sent" when I have put my swaps in the mailbox. As German time is not swap-bot-time and mailboxes are only emptied once a day (not necessarily at the time it states on the box...), the date I marked "sent" may not match the date stamped on the envelope. This doesn't mean I didn't send your swap on time!

For me, quality is far more important than quantity. Please consider what you send to me and rather spend more on one high quality item than send several low quality items. I don't give hearts, just because I'm sent a whole bunch of extras. I also don't just pack a bunch of things into an envelope when sending to you, but always try to find something you will like.

Reading is my big passion, I can't manage one day without reading. I read almost anything I can get, but I prefer classics and contemporary literature. Sometimes I also read children's books, love stories or some fantasy.

Some of my favourite authors are Siri Hustvedt, James Joyce, Jane Austen, Jostein Gaarder, Nick Hornby, Margaret Atwood...

I'm trying to do a journey around the world in books. I'm always happy if you can recommend a book from an exotic place or just send one if it is a book swap.

I hate when people just send their old crap that they can't use anymore. That's not the point of swap-bot for me, especially when the swap clearly states that new things have to be bought for your partner! I have received it all - dirty items, expired food items, junk... I don't want to have to throw your swap away when I receive it!

My daughter is still a baby so she doesn't have any wishes. I would appreciate handmade things for her like socks, hats etc. She currently wears size 80 in Germany, that would probably correpsond to a "12 months" size international. She doesn't wear pink or very girly things.
