About Me

I've been married for 13yrs and live in the country. I'm a stay at home mom to wonderful Hobbits, we also homeschool.

I really dislike the color yellow. It should only grace school buses and taxi cabs, sorry it's true. lol :)

I guess my style would be some sort of Victorian, Vintage, Retro Cottage mix. If it's old I'll probably like it.

There's always time for Tea!!

Favorite Music

I like most types of music...except rap, sorry. I listen to big band, oldies, motown, classic rock, and I love that awful music from the 80's :)

Favorite Books

I love books about the Victorian era, sewing, all things vintage and retro. I'm also a total history nut!

I also love homemaking books, cookbooks, craft books and tea party idea books.

Old fashioned fairy tales and classic books for children. Winnie the Pooh, Peter Rabbit, Paddington Bear, Chronicles of Narnia, R. L. Stevenson, All of a Kind Family, Little House, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, for just a few. I really like the Series of Unfortunate Events series, Lois Lowery's books, and Louisa May Alcott.

Some of my favorite fairy tales are Snow White, Emperor's New Clothes, Little Match Girl, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Three Little Bears, Snow Queen ,and Hansel & Gretel.

In 2011 I want to work on reading more literature. I have "seen" so many wonderful books, I want to change that.

Comment: Thank you for the seeds! I had good luck growing Chamomile in pots last year but am now out of seeds. So, I can really use the chamomile. And, I've never grown greens and am looking forward to it. Great seed choices!
