Hmm... let's see. Wow, I hate filling out these because I'm pretty all over the place really. The screen name isn't anything deep or philosophical, I just like to take things appart, and add them to other things I take apart and make something new.
I'm a video game addict, any platform, not big on first person shooters. I played the mmorpg FFXI
I like rockabilly style, victorian, punk, peacocks, swallows, cherry blossoms, bonsai trees, chickens, vintage, the 40's, retro kitschy things, collecting random things (like old license plates and safety razors for example). I love old school Sailor Jerry tattoos, pinups, cats, rubber ducks, comic books.
I have a 4 year daughter who keeps me on my toes.
I love to cook. I have a tiny kitchen with no counter space though, so it's kinda hard.
I grow my own herbs and veggies when I have the time to water them not kill them.
I'm not really a foo foo girlie girl type girl, although sometimes I am.
Favorite colors are bright and bold, not crazy about orange. Bright blue and lime green and yellow. But also red and black. Or red and turquoise. You get the idea!
I love the mod 60s style.
embroidery, abstract painting with oils, sewing (but I don't have a table right now, so can't really sew anything lol), jewelry making, finding different ways to use old vintage every day items that people toss
Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park, The History Channel, random stuff.
cheesy kung fu, bad horror flicks, anime, 80's cheese, comic book movies, independant films that DON'T have a happy ending.
everything from Jazz to Punk and in between.
As I mentioned, I'm not crazy about orange, I don't like the "country" geese, polyester, please no religious items regardless of religion, it's not that I'm against religion or anything so please don't take it that way, Disney, shell jewelry, I prefer silver tones over gold.
I'm always in need of pieces and parts for making jewelry. Chains chains chains! Broken vintage brooches, single vintage beaded clip on earrings, e6000, jewelry blanks, head pins, eye pins, and all other findings. Elastic for bracelets, bead caps, and spacers are in short supply in my house now. Wire for making jewelry.
I love coffee, the taste, the smell, the caffine, the color!
I love earrings, bracelets, necklaces of all lengths.
Something, anything to get me organized!!
For my boyfriend: NY yankees, marvel comics (Venom is his all time favorite), anything video game inspired. He's from Brooklyn originally, so I really want to get a series of stoop photographs for him.
Asian inspired decor for my living room
Unique handmade clothes for my daughter. As of today, 12/11, she is wearing 24 months/ 2 T
Vintage anything!
Something for my desk at work
More to come!

Hi! I just realized that I wasn't rated for the Etsy love - newbies welcome! swap. Please let me know and I will send it again. :)
What do you do with the broken vintage jewelry? How do you usually find them??
Grow your own herbs and raise your own chickens? That's super eco-friendly. Is it tiring? What is it like?
=D
