About Me

October 2020 Update: I am now working part-time and homeschooling my children. Distance learning through the school was frustrating so I have decided that we will homeschool for the rest of this school year. We are officially a private school now and I am excited to start this new adventure!

Hello :) I am an esthetician by trade and own a small day spa. I love what I do but my secret dream is to support myself as an artist. I have 2 lovely daughters an 11 year old and a 7 year old. My husband is a professional chef and we live in California's central valley.

My daughters keep me busy! They are also an inspiration to do more creative things. I have a craft table continuously covered in projects and a husband that is sweet enough to ignore the mess.

I love swapping. Apparently I am a lot more creative when I have a deadline. I have had a great time making things for my partners or even just decorating the packaging that I send my swaps in. Thank you to everyone that has ever sent anything to me. I feel so fortunate to have received some truly beautiful and thoughtful swaps :)

Follow me on instagram! My account is very "cute" but I am currently in the process of adding more swap, snail mail and craft content

My swaps come from smoke free home. My wishlist, favorites and likes lists are just to give ideas of what types/styles of things I like. I am happy to receive used items as long as they are in good condition. I re-use packaging whenever possible.

I take a lot of time and care with each swap and I would greatly appreciate it if my partners would do the same.

I am always open to private swaps. The ones I have done so far have been absolutely awesome!

Thanks for reading. ~Lisa

I'm so glad you like them! The dumpster fire is my favorite as well. I collect dumpster fire items anyway. I went to make a stamp today. I have to use my old MacBook since my new one doesn't have a USB port to hook the Mint up to. The program kept crashing as soon as I'd load the design up to print. So frustrating! I'm not sure if it was my obsolete MacBook or the Mint software. = /

I ended up getting my Mint as an open box on eBay for $40! Nothing inside the box was unsealed, so it was a heck of a steal! I've bought a ton of supplies though, so I've probably paid the retail amount of the machine in that. LOL! I'm in the midst of a room/craftroom clean out, so I'll make a note to send you some of my creations once this is over.

Thank you so much for the lovely Birthday mail! I love how you decorated the envelope and it's already found its place in my "Mail" journal!! I really need to know how you made this! It looks like a vellum??!?!

LadyJo on Oct 20, 2020:

Thank you for the beautiful hm fall card. I love it!

kiddomerriweather on Oct 19, 2020:

Thank you for the beautiful handmade Halloween card and tuck-ins for my October WW! I'm thrilled to have the first project you made with your Cameo. I still don't have a cutting machine. Well I had a Portrait when it first came out (I won it in a giveaway). I didn't like it so I gave it to a friend and he never used it. I got a Silhouette Mint a few months ago, so I can make my own self inking stamps. So much fun! Have a Happy Halloween!
