Note: I’m not sure where else to pst this Someone sent me a very cool vintage pc from Des Moines of the Wisconsin Dells. It has no name or swap label. If it’s from you let me know thanks I love it!
Hi I am a retired teacher. I like to read, collect and send snail mail and spend time with my family. I also like to travel.
I like to scrapbook and work on mixed media projects. I also like to collect and send postcards. I like to try new craft ideas.

Favorite Music
I like most kinds of music, but especially country. I really like George Strait! I went to his concert twice; once we got to sit in the front row! Very awesome! I also like Barry Manilow, Barry White, Lionel Ritchie. I remember watching American Bandstand and Soul Train when I was younger.
Favorite Books
I really like to read. I especially like biographies and historical fiction. I like to read how famous people dealt with everyday problems and about looking at the world from a different point of view. I like to read children's books, too. When I see someone with an interesting looking book, I will ask them about it and if they would recommend it. I have gotten to read a lot of different books this way.
Favorite Crafts
I have been scrapbooking for a long time. I also like other kinds of paper crafts like ATCs, pocket letters and Memory Dex Cards. I like to learn new techniques and try different ideas. I also like Smash books and other small journals to keep random "stuff". I also belong to Postcrossing and have sent and received a lot of different post cards. I LOVE visiting the post office in different places and I love sending and receiving snail mail!
I love most post cards. Either naked. Or in an envelope. Handmade ones are nice too if that's what you like to send. Touristy or unique whatever you choose. Just no dark creepy or goth. Thanks

The craft/scrapbook shops that I know of (heard of) are in the west valley also. I heard one does classes. I am on the other side of the valley! lol Do you take any crafting classes? I know Michaels and Hobby Lobby sometimes have them in my area. Would you maybe want to take a class together one Saturday and meet half way in a Michaels or Hobby Lobby in the middle? lol I am hoping to get to my PO Box tomorrow morning.. can't wait. I have to go get ready for work.. I work the late shift..
