Curmudgeon, slave to a blind Dachshund, I'm vegan, a knitter for almost 30 years, a swimmer, I volunteer as I can, I'm a writer and considering I find people to be very difficult and largely try to avoid them, I do have a very sweet beau. (bad news on the boyfriend, he died this summer, suddenly-I don't feel like taking him out of my, "about me," yet)

---Dog update: instead of just a Dachsund I am now also answering to a young, healthy, Boxer I found a few days ago (8/28/09). I am a Dachshund person, but this Boxer is not without her charms and it is nice to have a pet do what I ask for a change, but she can be as stubborn as a dachshund too and I am getting excersize whether I want it or not. lol

STUFF I LIKE:

Pink, purple, navy, olive, grey, muted colours, Fleur De Lys, vanilla Scented items; cream, candles, paper, etc, pictures of flowers, Knitting items, embroidery supplies/tools, hand quilting supplies/tools, decoupaging stuff, swimming themed things, Dachshunds, very simple Vegan recipes, notebooks, notepads, containers with tops, pens.

FEH;

Yellow, orange, lime, flowery scents, cooking, any item supporting corporate farming, any animal products i.e. wool, leather, sugar (except unprocessed sugar), religious items unless they are meant in a campy way;)

Movies should have stopped being made by 1951, latest. Detective Story, Best years of Our Lives, Force of Evil.
