I Pledge to Rate

If I haven't rated you, it is because I have not received your swap. I always rate as soon as I receive it.

I love to give hearts, but please know that extras do not necessarily get a heart with your rating. Thoughtfulness, timeliness in sending, taking your time and doing your best on a swap are just a few things that I pay attention to when deciding whether or not to give a heart.

My name is Anita and I'm 49 years old.

I've always been a very crafty kind of person and enjoy knitting, crocheting, drawing and handlettering. I have dabbled in, and want to get more into watercolor painting, felt creations and embroidery.

Also, I hate writing "About Me"s ;o) LoL

Favorite Music

I really have a very eclectic taste in music, all depending on my mood. I love everything from country to hard rock, classical to classic rock, pop...R&B......blues.....jazz....new age...I've not heard much that I don't enjoy listening to on some level.

Favorite Books

When I was growing up I read so much that my mom would get mad at me because I spent so much time in my room reading.

Likes and Don't Likes

Please don't take this list as me "telling" anyone what to send me. It is intended to give my swap partners ideas as to what I like and enjoy...and for those swappers that prefer to have a list to go by.

Now, onto the list (in no particular order...)

  • DRAGONFLIES!!!....and butterflies...and ladybugs...and bees...hehehe

  • I am a very colorful person and love most colors. My absolute favorites are aqua, scarlet red and pink....each individually, or together.

  • Yarn

  • Any journal that has sewn binding (for durability). Spiral bound is good too. Graphed, lined or unlined...it's all good!

  • pens & markers

*water color supplies

*Bibles (any translation)

*unused American postage stamps are always welcome and much appreciated.

  • art and craft technique, instruction and inspiration books

  • Deco/Washi tape!!!

Don't really care for:

*Really dark art

*Dotee dolls

*Anything that looks like it was just slapped together - - I personally put alot of thought and effort into my swaps and it would be nice if whatever you send me at least looks like you spent some time on it and made it with care.

Comment: Okay... this time I am sure this is your rating ;) The postcard you drew is absolutely amazing!! I wish I had a hundredth of your ability to make something so cool because I would just sit all day and draw, draw, draw and never do anything else... ever! Did you use copic markers? I want to buy some markers that blend like the ones you used. Thank you sooooooo much for sharing with me. This is going into a little frame to hang right by my desk so I can look at it and get inspired!!! Wish I could give you like 100 or more hearts for each hand stroke of creativity! I would gladly give you them all :)

Comment: Anita! I loved EVERYTHING! The Ami Moose is so precious. Moose are my favorite animal, so I def love this. Too cute! & it's small, so it doesn't take up too much room. Which is a plus for my 'craft' room. =P I also loved both drawings you did for me, as you already know. Thank you so much! I cannot wait to show my mother both of them.
