About Me

I live in corn country (Illinois) and work as a administration assistant for an University. This May I received my Bachelor of General Studies degree after many years out of school.

I am divorced after 19 years of marriage and am trying to socialize a bit more and get back into my crafting.

I haven't been on swap-bot for awhile and have just finished a Christmas Card Swap. I am looking forward to get back into swapping getting to know more people.

Favorite Music

I like most types of music but classical and rock opera (like Queen and Trans Siberian Orchestra) the best.

Favorite Books

I also have a wide interest in books. My favorite ones are sci-fi and fantasy but also love mysteries and "who done its". I have a growing collection of recipe books and craft books.

Favorite Crafts

Ahhh, where to begin. Currently my favorite craft is quilting and cross Stitch. I have learned how to do fabric post cards this year as well as some new blocks. I try a hand or two at scrapbooking but mostly use the stamps and stuff for scrapbooking in my quilting or cards.

I love to learn new methods of all of the above crafts as well as new ones.

Wish List

My wish list pretty much stays the same. I am always looking for embroidery floss since I do cross stitch.

Comment: Bonni, your ♥♥♥♥ (¯`*•.¸♥♫ ♫ B░E░A░U░T░I░F░U░L ♫ ♥¸.•*´¯) ♥♥♥♥ letter arrived Monday 09-09-19. It has taken me a couple of days to soak it all in as it is more like a book than a letter! Your blue and white scrapbook paper is to die for! I love the Moroccan front cover and Mexican back cover! Wherever did find these?Even your lined paper (also known a "ruled" paper) is 12'' x 12'' scrapbook paper! Scrapbook paper that looks EXACTLY like college ruled notebook paper?! That is insane! I am literally blown away right now, you know that? And here I have been using scrapbook paper as a design tool...never as a writing tool! What a gift! This blows the doors wide open on the traditional themed stationary paper! Genius! I have never seen scrapbook paper used in this way before and my preferred stationary of choice is lined/ruled as I cannot write in a straight line to save my life. Your letter is a true treasure and you are an unbelievable artist. You spoil me! I am definitely going to write you back! εїз Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ ❤ ƸӜƷ εїз Lora
Response: I'm so glad that you liked the paper. I got it from Hobby Lobby and I use it to make envelopes but when I saw the lined paper I just HAD to use it. I'll look forward to your letter. :)

Comment: Hi Bonnie! That was so much more than a notecard!! Not at all was I expecting to open all of these extra goodies! Besides the fact that the pink sparkly notecard is super amazing, I am very thankful for the stickers, ( my girls say thank you and YAY STICKERS), postcards, and washi! Thank you for brightening my girl's and I's day. It was very sweet of you!

Comment: Loved the Illinois Prairie pc (so did my parents). I live in a "corn country" style town too, and my parents were raised in the boondocks of Mexico so we appreciate the tranquility of country livin. P.S.
