4o-something Canadian/Portuguese female, recently divorced, living in sunny Portugal since I was a teenager. Used to be called Porkchop. Thought that calling my blog "Porkchop" might seem weird. Known to swear, daily... Love to read, all the time; love to sew, but rarely finish anything... (Edited 26 May 2008: finished my sister's birthday present - patchwork handbag!) Think the concept of swapping broadens your world.
Good rock'n'roll: QOTSA, Pearl Jam, RHCP, U2, Foo Fighters, etc. I'll go to any dump if there's a live band on. Dance music: yes the old fogie loves to dance. But I won't buy any of the stuff they usually play in clubs, it should stay in clubs.
Anything and everything by Stephen King, because he writes like somebody who'd enjoy having a beer and just chillin'. Cornwell, Cook, Bryson, Clarke, just too many to mention.
Lost, Heroes, House, Grey's Anatomy - anything with quirky twists and turns, and talented and hot actors.
Sewing is a passion, although, as I said before, I don't often finish projects. Have great ideas, but lack the stamina to get them through. When I do finish stuff, I'm ecstatic! Maybe sewing swaps will help me finish stuff :) Since being registered with Swap-bot, my sewing groove is back (!) and I'm finishing a few of the projects that I had hanging around. Happiness is a fat quarter (sigh)...
funky handbags; blue; green; funny socks; Garfield; craft and sewing blogs; italian food; the beach; smocks; magazines; dresses; soccer; tea; coffee; chocolate; beer; going out at night; straight vodka; Reese's anything with chocolate and peanut butter; mustard

Am absolutely horrified none of my partners in the postcard swap have received... I've even complained with the post office. Am re-sending everybody.
Mmmmmmmmm chocolate... Can only have mine out of the fridge now - temp was 26ºC this morning!
Have tried the chocolate now. Very yummy! :D Don't worry it was a wonderful package. You did great!
