I'm trying not to give up. ;_;

I have an ongoing RAK : Give me themes, I'll draw you an ATC.

Current status : [Closed]

Progress on current requests :

  • LilysMama : Still sketching
  • Mayje : Needs address
  • Ruie : Inked

Please please please communicate with me if you do not receive something I sent and I haven't contacted you. I tend to send a worried note after a month in transit. I will make it right. Be aware I am shipping from Canada. I have had mail to the US take over a month to get there.

I drop my mail in a mailbox, unless a stamp won't cover postage. Mail is picked up from Monday through Friday. This means it's possible the postmark will show a later date than when I mark sent depending on when my mail makes its way to the local sorting center.

I rate promptly : usually the same day I receive but sometimes I delay to the closest weekend after, only if it's hectic at work. I rate according to swap-bot's rating guidelines.

I do not give a heart for extras. I do not send extras for a heart. I do not decorate my envelopes. I want to keep my swaps as light as possible (and as requirements allow) to save on postage.

If I haven't rated you within a month of you sending, please contact me. It probably means I don't have your swap in my hands yet but you never know. Maybe I relapsed into my chronic problem of piling mail up until the end of the month.

I strive to be a good host. Helpful advice is always welcome. Thank you to those who have commented and helped me along the way.

I like the idea of public swaps, if only to help newbies gather ratings, and will do my best to weed out questionable swappers and keep my swaps safe.

I will angel when necessary. All my swaps do mention "If you are interested and available to angel if needed, please let me know." This is meant as a precaution should I be unable to angel due to Real Life happening.

If you need an angel for ATC swaps, you can e-mail me with the theme. I'll probably be able to help. :)

ATCs information

  • Private swaps ? Yes please ! Contact me to set something up.
  • Time spent on an ATC : anywhere from 45 minutes to over an hour between initial idea and finished product
  • I suck at backgrounds something fierce. I apologise about that. I'm trying to get better at it but it's a long and dark road.
  • There are no spoilers on my Instagram account. I only post process and finished product pics after my ATCs are in the hands of partners.
  • I prefer to receive hand-drawn/hand-painted ATCs but welcome everything. I am however not very fond of very bulky ATCs. I stick by the rule "If I can fit it in a sleeve, it's all good".

Comment: Thank you for a very cool Sheik! I actually started replaying Ocarina of Time during the holidays, hahah. Good timing!

Curiouskitty rated for CA : ATC Neon on Dec 24, 2020
Comment: Thank you for the fun Neon ATC. I laughed so much - the outfit & colours are perfect! 😂 The background you used worked very well for the rain, great eye! ♥️
peipeicl rated for TAC : Intl ATC Sender's Choice #1 on Dec 14, 2020
Comment: Thank you so much for drawing Sai for me <3 I love him so so much!
Response: I wanted to draw something you might enjoy so I'm glad it hit the mark. ^_^
Comment: I LOVE this atc!! Thank you - so creative and twisted:) LOL Thank you!!
Response: So glad you love it. I have a lot of fun drawing my lady vampires ! :)
Comment: I don't know how you do it but you're stationary is just always on point?? Like I can't stop noticing all the personal touches you added onto your envelopes and memo pads, they're just so satisfying to observe! 😊 I absolutely loved the colors you used for Arashiyama and Marker, especially since they worked so well together! While I personally haven't seen that anime before, looking up the characters you drew definitely gave me nostalgic older anime vibes (and some much needed serotonin). 😌✨ Thank you so much for the beautiful ATC!!
Response: Thank you so much for saying all these nice things! Papuwa itself is very bright (and silly) series. A little dose of sunshine and laughs in every episode. ^_^
Tamawi rated for GS : Intl ATC Pokémon : Ghost type on Dec 6, 2020
Comment: Yay yay yay! I love the Egypt-themed Pokemon. I developed an Egypt obsession when I was a preschooler, after my parents took me to a traveling King Tut exhibit. Apparently I started drawing mummies in their detailed wrappings. Ha! I hope you have a nice break. Catch ya next year!
Response: I went to a "Queens of Egypt" exhibition a few years back and it brought back so many nice memories of my childhood, when I was obsessed with Egypt. There's this short series, "Oh, Suddenly Egyptian God", streaming on Crunchyroll and it's a super cute take on the gods.
Comment: Thanks a lot for the atc! I haven't read mushishi myself, but all the pictures I've seen look really interesting.
Response: It's one of my favourite series. Very mellow and heart-warming, it's a little island of quiet when you want to forget about a busy day.

allieo rated for CA : ATC Rainbow #3 : Yellow on Nov 28, 2020
Comment: Thank you for the the very yellow witch. I believe that you are right and she is playing with sunshine. Just above the clouds for awhile.
Response: Thank you for your comment and the heart ! ^_^
Comment: Okay let me start by saying how cool it is that you have your own personalized memo pads and envelopes?? I was honestly mind blown that people are so dedicated to their swaps—it honestly made me feel really special to receive this in the mail. 🥰 In regards to the ATC, I absolutely loved how you picked Urbosa for this swap because her character design is one of my favorites in LoZ! And the amount of details that you put on her too is amazing! I can tell you put so much effort into drawing her clothing (especially all the jewelry pieces my god) and the colors you used worked perfectly together! I was definitely happy to receive such beautiful artwork! 😊 Thank you so much!!
Response: Thank you so much for the nice comment on my stationery. I'm a bit of a design geek so I *had* to get my own things printed lol. I'm so glad I picked a character which design you love ! I love how such coincidences happen when you trade ATCs. ^_^ She was a bit of a pain to draw but I was pretty happy with the result. I'm glad you like her !
9O96O rated for CA : ATC Pick one #4 on Nov 19, 2020
Comment: Very cool lady vampire drawing for "a wine glass filled with blood". I know what you mean about the difficulty of letting go. It's interesting that it's hard to let go of our work and yet adds to the creative spark knowing we won't be keeping it. :) I hope you remembered to take a photo. If you didn't I can send you one digitally to remember it by. 📸
Response: I did take a photo but thank you for the offer to send one ! You're right about that extra creative spark from knowing we have to trade the ATCs. When you're really proud of what you did, you end up hoping the person receiving it will love your work just as much !

Comment: Your lounging lady ATC put a big grin on my face because it's a great drawing and you included plaid. Well done on drawing it into her skirt and the chair. Thank you derakisu/ED.
Response: Aww, thank you! ! It was a lot of fun trying to decide how much plaid to include. I almost did the inner skirt too, but that might have been too much of a good thing ! =D

Comment: Wow, all that candy - I do love candy corn, but....!! Thanks for another great Halloween ATC :)
Response: When I got to colouring, I wasn't too happy with having drawn all that candy corn ! It turned out nice in the end so it's all good.
Comment: Ooh I loove this ATC of Sarutobi! Though I've never watched Gintama my brother (aka. anime watching buddy) was thinking of watching so maybe I'll be seeing it soon!! And I haven't mentioned it yet, but I love your stationary set. Soo pretty and snazzy, I love it! Thank you so much for hosting all these awesome swaps!!
Response: Gintama is a pretty good series if you want to turn your brain off for a while. I love how it balances ridiculous, basic humour stuff with pretty serious story arcs here and there. :) I get the stationary from Vistaprint FYI. Thanks to you for joining in !
