I love living in or near the mountains, but I love spending lots of time at the ocean. I like to travel, but I love to come back home. As Ernie would say, "Although I might like it for one afternoon / I don't want to live on the moon."

I'm a geeky girl who loves mathematical art. My two very intelligent black and white kitties are named Al and Ziggy (from Quantum Leap).

I love all colors equally. Really! I never considered myself girly, but I'm liking feminine style more recently. I still don't wear makeup or nail polish (often).

I have no allergies; I'm an adventurous eater.

I like all arts and crafts and will try my hand at most anything, but I spend most of my time with fiber arts. I knit, crochet, spin, and weave.

I love all sorts of fabric -- different textures, weights, colors, fibers -- and it's driven my interest in sewing lately. I use my mom's old 1969 Sears Kenmore machine to sew quilts, cloth napkins, and little things. No clothing yet, but that'll happen eventually.

I also keep a box around with a variety of old paper in it to turn into new paper, even though I never have a use for the new artsy paper I make.

I like television that can make me laugh or think, preferably at the same time. I seem to be on a sci-fi kick lately.
