i'm a nerd. i work in a cute office as a social and event coordinator and love my job. i am originally from pa/nj and i think i will always be a jersey girl at heart, but i have lived in portland, oregon for about the past six years and i am completely in love with this city. i share a cute little duplex with my boyfriend, my cat (milo), and a little dog (minature pinscher - ellie). i am so into my pets that i even have their paw prints tattooed to my wrists. i wear a size XL or XXL in ladies.

i am a newbie and just getting used to this whole swapping thing, but i would love to do private one on one swaps, so message me if you are interested.

i love crafts, baking, typewriters, taking walks in the rain, zines, coffee, make up, tattoos, etc. i can't resist a photobooth. i love trees, birds, and owls. octopi and manatees are really neat. my favorite colors are pink, yellow, teal, and i just generally am attracted to bright fun colors. i am really into retro and atomic style - clothing, art, pinups, or housewares. i just really enjoy old fashion domestic-ness and 50s style. i dream of being an old fashioned housewife, but i am too disorganized. thrift stores and yard sales are my addiction and i love getting really neat and special second hand items. i sew, screenprint (and other print making), embroider, make soap, and just generally enjoy handmade things and craftiness. my nerdy love is canning and home preservation...i love making jam! i'm also hooked on makeup... i really love to play with colors and experiment! the MAC counter is my dirty secret addiction, but i love trying new things. i really like fruity or bakery scents.

i am really excited for christmas. it's my favorite holiday. i love non-traditional and retro christmas stuff.

my bedroom has a funny red/blue robot theme. i have a pink and white craft room. the bathroom is yellow and lime green. i tend to be drawn to pink, girly kitchen stuff, but there is not nessisarily a theme of colors in my kitchen. none of these "themes" are that important, just trying to give some ideas.

i really appriciate anything you send, but here are some things you might want to know: i have too much stationary and hardly ever use it. i am allergic to strong flowery smells. i would not appriciate religious items. my ears are not peirced, so earings may not be so useful to me but i love other kinds of jewerly - particularly necklaces. i am not really into the whole kawaii/hello kitty thing.

i am vegetarian,so if we are doing a recipe swap, i would really love it if it was a meat-free recipe! :)

i love 80s new wave, old 90s riot grrrl, punk, indie, swing music, old rock n roll, etc. i'm really opened on my musical tastes!

supernatural, the daily show, the office, degrassi, fringe, freaks and geeks, and lots of other bad tv.

"family" is a sort of vague word for me. i live 3,000 miles away from where my parents and sister live, so i have built a little alternative family of my own and i am very thankful for them! treats for the family are always appreciated!

i live with my boyfriend bryan and our dog and cat. the pets are definitely part of the family to me since children are not in my future.

bryan is a nerdy comic artist and student. he loves robots, video games, illustration, print making, reading and creating independent comics, sci fi, lucadors, dj-ing, etc.

ellie is a three year old min pin. she loves nothing more than food and cuddles. she is a size small and loves a sweater because she gets awfully cold in the winter. she is a good sport about silly costumes because she is a total ham for attention. she also loves snacks (peanut butter flavor is a favorite), things to chew on, nori (seaweed), and chasing milo. she will not play fetch or frisbee.

milo is a chubby orange cuddlebug of a cat. he loves nori as well (they both go totally insane for it) and fishy snacks. he is adorable with catnip and totally loves it. he also loves toys on a stick, my jewelry, and bouncy balls.
