I was an elementary art teacher for twelve years, but in 2018 I left it all behind to pursue a masters degree in counseling and art therapy.

I have been married since 2005, and together we have one boy, born 2006.

I spin, knit, crochet, and dye yarn. I have done some yarn bombing, and I would love to do more. I love street art of any kind. Sometimes I like to make mini-zines.

I like Folk Art, and art that contains visual puns and humor, juxtaposition, and irony.

Comment: I'm glad to hear graduate school is going well. I loved visiting New Mexico, and imagine the ice cave was cool - but, oh boy, that postcard does not do it justice!

Comment: Thank you very much for all of your great postcards! :) That sure would have been a heart even without the fourth card that arrived today! :) I love that you picked each postcard with care (loved all of them) and wrote detailed about your December. Thank you for sharing your December with me! Seems to have been quite a busy month for you. And thanks for the nice stamps :) Oh, and I have to admit, that I like that the text is almost everywhere where had been free space, looks like lots of text then and adds detailedness to the card :D Wow, what a big school celebration, looks fun, my school never had anything like this ;) Looks like the children could do lots of different things there. Yes, I watched some of the cartoons as a child :) Best wishes!

I'm with you on the Zazzle PCs - a lot of our local stores are selling local artists' postcards that are printed via Zazzle or Vistaprint. It doesn't bother me, but I know some people feel very strongly about store-bought cards.
