I am in my 40s. Ihave consistently avoided growing up, but have been forced into being an adult. I workin an elementary school which helps to keep me thinking young. I am one of the few people who are okay with receiving teacher stickers (more interesting than basic stars anyway). I can always make use of them.

We are a small family. My husband and I have one son who is in the pre-teen years and occasionally needs reminders that he's not a teenager yet. We are all musically inclined and lead busy lives. We appreciate those rare moments when we are home together with no real plans. Lazy, pyjama days are the best!

I am most interested in craft type swaps (crochet, knit, zentangle), profile decorating, and sending cards/short letters. I enjoy international swaps, but I spread these out due to postage costs. I tend to restrict these to flat mail as well. I live close to the U.S. border and travel over frequently so U.S. swaps may not be sent from my home post office. Things I Like I like a variety of things. I like music themed items, all things Disney, Harry Potter, books, crochet items and tools, knit items and tools, anything handmade, different recipes, stickers, pens, and markers. Really I love all sorts of stationery and office supply type items. My husband tries to keep me away from those stores. I like nature scenes. I also like tea, hot chocolate, all things chocolate, mint, lemon, and cinnamon. Dislikes Nothing gory, not a fan of black licorice, coffee and coffee flavours, pistachios. I'm allergic to wool Wishlist stationery/notecards, knit/crochet related tools, tea (bags or loose leaf, especially fruit, or rooibos), pens, pencils,markers for zentangle/scrapbook, paterns from Ravelry list, anything handmade

Crafts I ama fan of crochet and simple knitting. I also enjoy zentangle and colouring. Sometimes I do cross-stitch or plastic canvas projects. I have been known to scrapbook, although not a lot lately. I nearly always have at least one crochet or pnitting project on the go.

I play clarinet and some saxophone. I am a member of two bands. One is the Essex Community Concert Band where Iplay clarinet. My husband plays trombone and my sone play Alto Saxophone in this band as well. My son and I are members of the Kingsville Essex Associate Band. He plays his saxophone. I teach our beginners and Iam the drum major for the Marching Band. I love to read. I will read pretty much anything. Because I spend most of my time with kids I have been reading a lot of Young Adult fiction. I do, generally, prefer fiction to non-fiction for pleasure reading. Is shopping a hobby? Ihope so becaue I love to do it. Especially with friends! It doesn't even matter if we wind up buyng much. Bookstores and craft stores are my favourite places. I also love going to Art & Crafts Shows.

I love to travel, although the budget hasn't allowed for much of this lately. Some of our favourite places are Disney World, Texas (to visit relatives), Torontao, and Ottawa.

Almost everything! I love Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, and Outlander. I am have recently read the Percy Jackson books with my son. I also love Dan Brown, Sue Grafton and Janet Evanovich.

My favourite music to listen to is mostly fromthe 50s, 60s, and 80s. I also love Showtunes from musicals. The only music I'm not enthused about is rap, opera, and bluegrass. I love to play all sorts of music. My favourite is probably showtunes.

I am not a fan of horror moviess, or a lot of the action movies,but I will watch most other types. Ilike many different dramas, Romantic comedies, all things Disney, and I like to watch movies based on books (not that they're always accurate, but I like to compare them).

I love the Big Bang Theory, all of the NCIS shows, The Amazng Race, Madam Secretary, and Elementary. I also watch a lot of reruns of some of my favourite shows.
